Great Washing Machine

Poor quality dryer

The first one was about a year and half old, over heated and started to smoke. I called Samsung they came out and said I have to have it professionally cleaned every year and it’s my fault so I had to pay to have it fixed (which was almost the cost of the dryer). I purchased this unit as a replacement and it seems to be subpar quality. I have to run multiple high heat cycles to dry larger loads and sometimes for small loads too. All of the custom cycles are useless because they never dry the clothes (they use lower heat settings). I suggest avoiding Samsung at this point.

This has been one of my best decisions this year. My bed sheets have been smelling fresher longer compared to when I would use my old washer. Its quiet and i havent had any issues.

I got a good price and great installation from best buy, meanwhile I have the bestbuy warranty which can protect it very well. It's a great shopping!

It can handle a full load of clothes and everything is dry at the end of the cycle. It has different settings depending on what you are putting in. It even lets you know when it is done with a chime at the end of the cycle.

But I have noted one potential problem, the lint filter might possibly wear out and break eventually due to the hinge action in opening it for cleaning.

One downside I noticed is that when you are pouring the softener in the holder it immediately drains into the washer. So, if you have the door open while doing that it drains into the rubber door seal.

We love our new washer and dryer. The reason with I gave 3 stars is because of the delivery of the product (I am guessing best buy use 3rd party delivery/installation option). I was charged for the installation of the equipment and when the deliver guys showed up, it seems like they were just least interested in having them install. They looked at the connection knob and said we are not able to remove that (didn't even try) and gave really hard time to my wife. We ultimately had to call our neighbor to help out since my wife is not very handy, and our neighbor was able to do it in less than a second. It is just horrible that you pay for something and have to do it yourself.
