I am also NOT a fan that every couple of weeks it forces itself into Self-Clean mode which takes 4 hours to complete and a ton of water!!! I would save your money and get a hotpoint for half the money.

We understand how you feel about the washer's weight and the Self-Clean feature. Let us help.
After every 40 cycles, the Self-Clean icon appears for an hour and then turns off automatically. The icon will appear for five more cycles, turn off, and will not appear for another 40 cycles.
You may refer to page 40 of the user manual for more details about the Self-Clean feature.

I had it delivered and setup. The delivery people were very kind and worked with her to get the old washer out.

First the door lock stopped working so I couldn't wash anything, which I had to call and wait a few days for it to come be fixed under warranty. The front seal of the door always has a leak, every single wash cycle. Now, conveniently it started leaking out the front of the washer of all places. Right after my warranty ran out too for the added smack in the face. Do yourself the favor and skip on a Samsung washer, it's just not worth the hassle.

It’s quiet, which is great for me and my neighbors. There is a lot of room for my clothes, since it’s just me living here. It’s easy to use. The washer gets the job done. Also, the installation guys did a great job installing both the washer and the matching dryer.

Stackable kit was easy to assemble. The only problem we had was our top of the washer was crushed in and bent out the back. ..must have been from stacking in the warehouse as the styrofoam wrap on the unit was not damaged.
