Only trouble has been it required HE detergent, and does not break down detergent sheets well. Currently looking into non toxic detergent options, otherwise wonderful machine.

I had a Maytag Maximum that cost me $1,000. Bought it in 2012 and it has broken down twice. So I looked for a new one. The price is right and we don't need all the bells and whistles (it's just 2 of us). Extremely easy to unpack and set up. One thing I noticed is that it has some features that you find on high end washers. It makes sure the load is balanced and it has a filter at the bottom of the washer. Here is the clincher. IT CLEANS MUCH BETTER THAN MY MAYTAG! The little song it plays when the wash is done is a nice little touch.

This was an open box and had a few scratches on top. We plan to remodel and stack them so that will be hidden and we got the unit half off. It works great and washes very well. It is very quiet.
