We have had no issues at all with either product. I do suggest leaving the washer, door and detergent compartment open once cycle is finished to allow everything to air dry! The set looks great and functions beautifully as well! Not one complaint

Great washer and dryer

Came across this Samsung stackable washer (with its “matching” dryer set). It has been a month and these machines are fantastic. The wash takes half the time to complete and it’s quiet compared to our old machines! They dryer has a little tune when the drying is done. Delivery and installation were timely and professional. We are please with our purchase.

Everyone told me to never get a Samsung, but we've been using this almost daily for 2 years and it has had zero problems. DONT FORGET TO REMOVE THE SHIPPING BOLTS BEFORE YOU USE IT.

I bought a second not because how good the first was, it was just the cheapest to replace the one I had. The last one made it 8 years, but it wasn’t trouble free. I had to replace a drain pump after a couple years and the tank support assembly from inside the tub a couple years later. The first Samsung motor finally failed in a spectacular smokey meltdown. I do all my own repairs so I can stretch their life with limited expense. The Samsungs get the job done, but expect to have a few bumps along the way.

A couple years down the road and they still work like new and they was 5 kids worth of clothes and blankets and my work clothes. Fantastic!!!

You can't really control the washer from the SmartThings app, you can't control the washer from outside your home network. With it being front loading, and stackable, the placement of the drain could have been better. So far I've had no issues with actually washing clothes so it seems to do the one thing its made for well... however its new so appliances working well when brand new SHOULD be the norm. You have to power down the machine to do anything, can't really wash a small load, and need to be mindful of the area surrounding the door - its obvious it will collect socks and other small clothing.

Arrived dented and when we put the washer on top the movement of the washer also dented and scratch the top of the machine badly. Machine works well so far.
