After the wash, the detergent smell is very strong compared to my previously washer. I feel like I should run the rinse cycle again.

This was our first purchase of a Samsung appliance, and it will certainly be the last. About 3-4 months after we got this washer, it started making a loud, irritating noise and quickly stopped working thereafter. A technician was sent out a week later but did not have the part needed to fix it. It took another week for another technician to come back with the needed part but it still could not be properly repaired - even though it washed, it would make an abnormal sound at various times in the cycle. Samsung finally decided to replace the unit. The new one was delivered yesterday and promptly displayed an error code about 10 minutes after the Best Buy installers left. Best Buy sent another team out today to look at it and they stated it was a defective unit! We are opting for a Maytag washer as we no longer want another Samsung.
