    Avoid - poor quality that won't last 2 years

    Do NOT be fooled... this is a poor quality product. Samsung markets as a premium product - IT IS NOT. The suspension rods on my machine failed after 2 years - and I wash for a family of 2 people. Pity the busy families who expect their washer to last more than a year or two. Of course you can go on the internet and learn how to replace these parts - it's not very expensive and lots of people have done it - Want to guess how many? The top 5 YouTube videos have over half a million views... that gives you an idea how many people have dealt with this one issue. Samsung is selling an extremely poor quality product - AVOID. My previous washing machine lasted over 25 years - a Whirlpool if I'm not mistaken.

    BRING BACK ANALOG WASHING MACHINES!

    This washer is way too complicated for its own good. It weighs the clothes to determine the amount of water to add per load. If the clothes happen to be wet, such as if the machine stops in the middle of a cycle for the load being off-balance, the machine does not know what to do because the clothes weigh too much, so it just shuts down. You can't start again until you've removed the wet, dirty clothing, dried it, and put it back in the machine. Who designed a washing machine that can't handle wet clothes?

    Broke same month the warranty expired.

    I purchased this washer on March 16, 2021. On March 26, 2022 It started making grinding sounds. Best Buy won't do anything since it is 10 days past the warranty. Samsung doesn't even show it on their website. When I enter the serial # on the Samsung support page, it brings up this model # and then says the model # that they brought up doesn't exist. The spin cycle "Clutch Gear Coupling" appears to be the problem and it cost over $200 and I am not even certain that the part will work on my washer since my washers model# isn't listed. I WILL NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG WASHER AGAIN! And for that matter I will never buy any major appliances from Best Buy ever again.

    Broke after 3 years

    Leaving a review so others can be informed. We bought the 3 year warranty on 5/12. Our washing machine broke 6/1 and now there's nothing we can do about it. The machine gets very unbalanced and refills a million times. I have to manually go in and balance it myself by redistributing the clothes. Also, the drain pump seems to be going out cuz it's making a very loud sound. It's so frustrating how cheap they make these now days. Thankfully Samsung has agreed to pay for parts but the labor is gonna cost about $100. Annoying, especially after we paid for the 3 year protection plan. Again, just leaving a review so others can be informed. Overall I feel like it worked okay leading up to these issues.

    Disappointed

    The washer was great for the first two weeks and then it started leaking water from the bottom. Thankfully it’s under warranty. I do love the size. It can hold large loads.

    Big mistake buying Samsung washer.

    Worst washer ever. Noisy, rusty, always out of balance. Replacement parts did not help. Replacing after three years.

    Don't buy Samsung Washer

    I bought my Samsung washer 2 years ago at Best Buy. The washer stopped working 5 days ago in the middle of a cycle. I tried to get service but it turns out that there's only only service office in my area that can service the washer and they're booked a month out. I called different service & repair offices but everyone turned me down because they dont work with Samsung. I've learned my lesson and will never buy an imported washer that doesn't have ample service support, should've bought made in the US. If you really care about service and don't want to wait 30 days for a service technician. I considering going out at this point an buying a Whirlpool washer because I know that if if breaks I will be able to get service support.

    Horrible washer

    Worked fine for about a year and now knocks itself out of alignment every time it spins, takes 12+ hours to do a load, no matter the size. HORRIBLE! Will never buy samsung appliance again.

    DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

    Honestly this washer is very disappointing. Pretty much a few months after using, it was making load noises, after about a year the drum was bouncing uncontrollably and would stop with an error code. Paid over $200 to get it fixed, “was told it was the suspension rode” all 4 was replaced and 3 months later the same error code came back up. Please listen and don’t waste your money. Go with LG. This is my second Samsung washer that hasn’t worked over 3 years. & I use to only buy Samsung until the same problems keep happening. PLEASE GUYS DONT WASTE YOUR Money u pay for what u get. Just spend a little more money!

    Dissapointed - Very Loud & Cannot Shut Off Chime

    We had an older Samsung 4.5 Cu. Ft. HE top-load washer model, also purchased from Best Buy, and this new one is a disappointment. In the pictures it looked like this was a newer version of the same washer, it is not. This model is at least 50% louder when running. It is much louder than the one this was intended to replace. Thankfully Best Buy is great with exchanges and returns, as this one is going be exchanged for another model! You CANNOT shut off the end of cycle chime or the button tones. It would be good if the advertisement specified that as I had never seen a washing machine that didn't allow you turn these off before. The end of cycle chime is loud enough to wake people up if you run it at night.

    Unbalanced every load

    My experience is the same as other reviews unbalanced every load so frustating. Fine for 1 1/2 years and then it cant finish one load. Do not buy this.

    Made a Bad Decision

    Worst machine we've ever owned. It has started having problems after 18 months. It goes out of balance almost every load, size of the load does not matter. It rebalances now and restarts the whole cycle again, if not monitored to stop. I've never owned such a poor performing appliance in my life. Called customer service who offered little to no help. Told me to recalibrate and if it still goes out of balance pay for a technician to come out. A 1 year warranty on a major appliance was the first red flag....I would never recommend this machine to anyone based on the experience I have had.

    Disaster!

    The installer didn’t hook up the drain hose so the house was flooded. I filed a claim twice because they forgot to send the first one through. Now they said they will close the second case and wait to hear from our attorney. What? I’ve been buying TV’s, phones and appliances from Best Buy since the 90’s. I have 300 dvd’s from them. My go-to. But this one is a deal breaker. Buyers beware!

    No Hot Water

    You have to read page 37 of the Users Manual to find out that there's not such thing as hot water. However, this occurs on ALL of the cycles, except self-clean. Called support. They said Hot water will damage my clothes. Really? I've been doing laundry for 40 years. Then support changed their tone and said it is what Samsung deems as hot water. How does Samsung determine what is "acceptable adult bath-water" and "comfortable swimming-pool water"? Page 37 "If you select NORMAL cycle, this cycle is the regulation and UL cycle. Since new washers must reduce the amount of energy usage as a first priority, customers will notice more cold water entering the washer. But, this is normal, not a problem. In those regulation cycles, Hot temperature is similar to acceptable adult bath-water temperature and warm temperature is similar to comfortable swimming-pool water temperature."

    AFTER 2 YEARS YOULL BE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ELSE

    Did the job but suddenly started banging really hard and leaving my clothes soaked or restarting the wash once it go to 7-10 minutes left. My washer was 2 years old and once i youtubed the problem it seemed that this happens constantly with samsung products!!

    not a good buy

    Samsung computer board problems

    An Error message showed up within first 3 days causing machine to stop. Machine will restart if you press start button but what an unnecessary hassle to keep doing this each time washer is used!

    BUYER WARNING

    DO NOT buy Samsung washers. They don't work! I had them come out for repair the first year 3 times and it still doesn't work. Only now it's not under warranty and they won't do anything about it. Leaves white product all over black clothes. The water bowl doesn't ever get all the clothes wet. They come out dry. Does not clean clothes at all.
