Buyer Beware!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this washer for only 5 years, and it is already giving me trouble. We are only a family of 3. After 1 or 2 loads, I keep getting the UB signal and my husband has to hold the washer in place to make it through the spin cycle. After much research, it seems like this is a very common issue. This wasn't even my first choice, but during COVID times, I had very limited options. It is very subpar with washing clothes as well. Please get the agitator if you still plan to buy. Very disappointed in Samsung, now I am forced to get a new washer when you should have at least a 10-year life span with a washing machine

Beware of Samsung washing machines

No problems for the first year or so, but it soon got really loud when spinning out, and constantly unbalanced at which point it refills and starts again. It is nearly impossible to find anyone who can repair them. I finally sent directly to Samsung for service and their starting quote is $495. For a three year old machine.

Good news is Samsung is replacing it since it's still within warranty. Bad news is an appliance should not be failing like this so soon. After talking with friends it turns out a lot of people have had these issues. Choose a different brand.

Do not buy Samsung washers

It goes out of balance on the self clean cycle with nothing in it. Warranty is out, I’m $350 in on parts and service, and I’m shopping for a new washer. Do not buy Samsung washers!

Doesn't wash clothes good at all. Leaves it stained and dirty! The water doesn't fill up all the way. The suspension rod springs give up ( it's what makes it spin), and to fix them, they cost 145 EACH! NOT WORTH IT! And good luck finding them, too! NONE of these brand new washers work! Stick with the ajatator ones ! If i could rate this machine, it would be 0!

It makes a horrible noise during spinning , we have to rearrange the clothes twice or more during every load. We have change the shocks twice already and the machine still doesn’t work. Parts are super espensuve. SIMPLY HORRIBLE. Do not buy this.

These machines are notorious for poor performance and excessive mold build up that cannot be cleaned. They will leave your laundry covered in mold particles and smelling bad. No matter how many self clean cycles or cleaning agents you use, this issue will not go away. My Last Samsung Appliance

The product says "Vibration Rduction Technology+". It works fine, so long as you never every put shower size towels in it. When it gets off balance, it takes 4 minutes to stop spinning after you hit pause before you can fix it. Beyond annoying.

It weighs the clothes to determine the amount of water to add per load. If the clothes happen to be wet, such as if the machine stops in the middle of a cycle for the load being off-balance, the machine does not know what to do because the clothes weigh too much, so it just shuts down. You can't start again until you've removed the wet, dirty clothing, dried it, and put it back in the machine. Who designed a washing machine that can't handle wet clothes?

Broke same month the warranty expired.

Best Buy won't do anything since it is 10 days past the warranty. Samsung doesn't even show it on their website. When I enter the serial # on the Samsung support page, it brings up this model # and then says the model # that they brought up doesn't exist. The spin cycle "Clutch Gear Coupling" appears to be the problem and it cost over $200 and I am not even certain that the part will work on my washer since my washers model# isn't listed. I WILL NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG WASHER AGAIN! And for that matter I will never buy any major appliances from Best Buy ever again.

Don't buy Samsung Washer

The washer stopped working 5 days ago in the middle of a cycle. I tried to get service but it turns out that there's only only service office in my area that can service the washer and they're booked a month out. I called different service & repair offices but everyone turned me down because they dont work with Samsung. I've learned my lesson and will never buy an imported washer that doesn't have ample service support, should've bought made in the US. If you really care about service and don't want to wait 30 days for a service technician. I considering going out at this point an buying a Whirlpool washer because I know that if if breaks I will be able to get service support.

The suspension rods on my machine failed after 2 years - and I wash for a family of 2 people. Pity the busy families who expect their washer to last more than a year or two. Of course you can go on the internet and learn how to replace these parts - it's not very expensive and lots of people have done it - Want to guess how many? The top 5 YouTube videos have over half a million views... that gives you an idea how many people have dealt with this one issue. Samsung is selling an extremely poor quality product - AVOID. My previous washing machine lasted over 25 years - a Whirlpool if I'm not mistaken.

Broke after 3 years

Our washing machine broke 6/1 and now there's nothing we can do about it. The machine gets very unbalanced and refills a million times. I have to manually go in and balance it myself by redistributing the clothes. Also, the drain pump seems to be going out cuz it's making a very loud sound. It's so frustrating how cheap they make these now days. Thankfully Samsung has agreed to pay for parts but the labor is gonna cost about $100. Annoying, especially after we paid for the 3 year protection plan. Again, just leaving a review so others can be informed. Overall I feel like it worked okay leading up to these issues.
