When the washer and dryer that came with the house needed to be replaced, we wanted a quality HE washer without paying too much. This was the right balance of cost and features. You can get bigger and fancier, but you will pay more for unnecessary things.

When I started looking for a new washer, Samsung did not come to mind, but it was one of the better prices and sizes that were available at the time. So far, I have been very pleased with it. It's nice not having a middle agitator down the center. Our clothes seem cleaner, smell fresher, and dry quicker. Very pleased so far. I will say that the song that it sings when a load is complete, makes me roll my eyes and kinda drives me crazy, but other than that....no complaints.

Very satisfied with my purchase. I feel I received good value for the money. I can wash much larger loads now, including a queen-sized comforter which never would have fit in my antique Kenmore. I thought I would miss not having an agitator but the Samsung seems to do a better job of washing. Also, the dryer takes less time to dry so I can get my loads done faster while using less electricity.

It takes some time to figure out all options. Hard to get use to each taking twice as long for each load.

Not as good as its predecessor. Lights and noise indicators aren’t needed. Cosmetically it’s close to the original but just looks cheap. Performance cycles are now longer for reasons only they know. Kind of a letdown compared to the original. We hope it delivers as well as it’s earlier model.
