I am giving it a 3 because it plays this annoying tune whenever its done washing. The tune is almost a song for about 45 seconds. I love the self cleaning options.

It is quiet, easy to use and washes well, even large loads like bedding. It takes a while to start up and the water does not start until the lid is closed. I have not used the self clean feature yet but it I like that it self cleans. Also like the tune it plays when the wash is over!

First thing I noticed was whenever I selected a cold water cycle, it would be hot. At first I thought I was crazy and it was user error and I simply selected the wrong option (turns out I'm not crazy and in fact do know how to select the proper options) next thing I noticed was the rinse and spin cycle would continue forever and the water would not stop filling. When this would happen, I would have to turn the machine off and restart it until it worked properly (fun times wasting water). Called Best Buy about all the issues and they transferred me to Samsung. Samsung comes out when they can and they said, "Well, first issue is an easy fix. Whoever installed this mixed your lines up (best buy technicians)." Second issue turned out to be a bad sensor in the board and the whole board has to be replaced and of course that part has to be replaced. Would not purchase another Samsung. A friend warned me after noticing what I purchased it was a bad idea and they were right. So much money only for it to break and be installed incorrectly (loved that I paid extra for installation) less than a month of having it.

Wash cycle sounded like cardboard rubbing against gravel, spin cycle could not maintain a consistent speed and repeatedly had to engage. Water temperature control was also a problem. BestBuy was very reliable, customer service very gracious and replaced the machine twice, bottom line ... I chose a different brand.

Not impressed

My husband read so many reviews before we purchased and thought this would be a good choice... boy were we wrong! Nothing but problems since we got it 2 months ago! First, the machine shouldn't have even worked when we first got it because the valves were shut off from the factory. It worked for a few weeks and then the water quit coming out, that's how we discovered the shut valves after having to wait several days for someone to come look at it. Now, a little over a month later, the drum is locked up and won't spin! It quit mid cycle so I'm now having to finish by hand the load that was in, if I have any hoped of finishing it and it not souring while we wait again for someone to come look at or fix the machine. If I could return it, I would because this is ridiculous! That aside, when it works it does pretty well but it's not worth all this trouble on a brand new machine!

Complete trash doesnt work

This is worst washer i have ever owned in 40 years complete garbage. Brokem upon delivery.
