Just ran it for a load of wash and it was great.

The old one had drum problems and persistent re-cycling and rinsing. Still, it was otherwise a good machine for 5 years. This one seems to be working just fine. I think it's noisier than before ... not a big deal, though. I like the Samsung products, so I'm satisfied. I was very happy with Best Buy salesperson, the communications prior to delivery, and the install guys. Very happy.

I have had two front loaders and they were terrible. The first one had such a bad smell that I got a new one and that front loader started leaking within a year. My daughter had this machine and liked it so I went with the Samsung 4.5 high efficiency tool loader. So far it washes well and is quiet. The only draw back that I have with it is that it is difficult for me to reach in the washing machine to retrieve the clothes to put in the dryer. I am 5'6". Wonder how shorter people handle this problem.
