Samsung 4.5 Cu. Ft. HE Top Load Washer/Vib Red.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine does a good job and is quiet. The machine spins the water out of the clothes so well the drying time is reduced. However this machine takes a longer time to complete a wash cycle. The compacity is much better than a regular machine also. Very good at washing a large blanket or comforter.

Love this washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this washer. Not having the agitator makes it so easy to wash bedding and I can fit so much more in it. I was able to wash my Queen size winter blanket with no problems. I don’t know why everyone complains about the song at the end of the wash cycle, I like it & it’s not that long. Next, I’m going to order the Samsung dryer. I can’t hear the machine running from the next room, so it is quiet.

Fresh, Clean Clothes
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new dryer! It looks aesthetically pleasing while also thoroughly cleansing my clothes. The install was super quick and easy and I haven’t had any problems with it. My clothes look and feel cleaner than my last washer. It’s a quiet washer as well. The only con is the time it takes to wash a load. Even the quick wash is about 45 minutes but I know most newer washers have longer wash times. I’m loving my new washer overall and will recommend to anyone.

Love My Samsung Washing Machine!!!

Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this washing machine, and it has exceeded all my expectations! The machine is incredibly efficient, with a variety of wash cycles that cater to all my laundry needs. It handles large loads with ease, and my clothes come out spotless every time. The quiet operation is a huge plus, as it doesn't disturb the household even during late-night washes. The sleek design and user-friendly interface make it a great addition to my home. Overall, this washing machine has made laundry day a breeze, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and high-performing appliance!

Love it!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The machine is not loud, the clothes come out clean and it handles a big load. It plays a melody when the wash is done. Super easy to use and the wash time isn't bad but that depends on the load size and setting you use. I'm happy that I picked this washer and it's perfect for my family of 4.

Effective Machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The machine easily fit through the doors to get to the basement. It runs quietly and has multiple settings. The clear, glass lid allows me to see activity inside the machine. I value the setting for bedding/waterproofing so I could wash a mattress pad. Clothes come out clean. I like that there is not a central agitator.

You Won’t Be Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washing machine was not my first choice. It was my second. My first was an LG Direct Drive but no one had one in stock and we would’ve had to wait 2 months for it. I was impatient so I went with my second choice, this one. Delivery took (1) week. We purchased from Best Buy and they require a consumer to spend $30 for new water lines. We didn’t need new water lines. Ours are 6 months old and have no issues so we declined installation to avoid paying for extras we don’t need or want. Note to Best Buy - this should be a suggested item not a required item to make an extra $30! We are buying an expensive appliance that only has a 1 year warranty PLUS an extra warranty in excess of $90 to $130 depending on the years. We shouldn’t have to pay an additional $30 just because Best Buy thinks it’s best. No other retailers “require” this. It’s suggested. Scheduling and Delivery was seamless. We were called the night before with a time frame of 2-3 hours and advised we’d receive another call within an hour of delivery. All went as planned. Delivery personnel arrived on time. They looked and behaved professional. Given we are in the midst of a pandemic both men were appropriately protected and considerate of our space too. We were allowed to inspect and photograph prior to taking into our home. I don’t think they were onsite 15 minutes. I’m not afraid of new technology or how to use it. However, I am old enough to know that products with one or two knobs were made with better quality and durability back in the day and companies stood behind their products with 5 and 10 year warranties which most of the time wasn’t needed. Flash forward to present day, products are made cheap and always changing so that we always have to buy new which isn’t convenient for those on a budget and those who lived in the old days. Now we get items with a 1 year warranty and have to spend in excess of $100 to have peace of mind we can get our items repaired or replaced when they fail. The cost of these appliances should be adjusted to reflect this because while this washing machine is great and we have no real complaints so far, it’s definitely not worth $800 (cost, tax and warranty included). Speaking of the manufacturers warranty, the motor has a 10 year warranty. But the most costly aspect of repairing this machine is all the computer technology which is not covered. Between costly parts and labor, it might be cheaper to just get a new washer when this one fails. But unless you have a 6 figure income, most don’t have $800 sitting in a drawer to run out and buy a new one. So plan on getting the 3 year warranty for $90 at minimum. Get the 5 year warranty of you have an extra $130 to spend. Considering all the reviews and most are favorable, if you have the kind of luck we have, a lemon in the mix is not unexpected. At least we will have 3 years of peace with this machine. We installed this washer ourselves and there were no issues. Water lines were secure and dry. We knew how to plug it in and leveling was a breeze. Since I recently had shoulder surgery I couldn’t take the maiden voyage with the new washer even though I’m the primary user. If I allowed my husband to wash my clothes they’d be pink and small enough to fit Barbie. The manual is thick and has several languages. I read the English part of the manual from start to finish before delivery (downloaded PDF) to be prepared in advance. So, I stood close by and supervised the husbands install. Later that night I read the manual again. It sits by the washer, too, as you will need to reference it a few times for the first few weeks. The washer is quiet. We weren’t sure if all was well as we’ve become so used to hearing our 27 year old washer. We had to check on it often as we washed our first load. It was kind of funny as we both stood and watched the laundry wash in the new washer. The lid is see through. The only time either one of us has seen laundry cleaning in process was at the laundromat. When we realized we were both standing there watching the laundry we laughed a bit. The settings are a learning curve but it’s not so complicated you can’t complete a few loads without referring to the manual. Some reviews I’ve read about certain setting options are not a concern if you actually read the manual. I like to do what everyone else does too as far as how to clean clothes and had no issues. You can wash Cold Only. You can wash with more water if you like. You can run economy loads or was non economy. There are rinse and spin cycles and there is a quick wash setting. What I found I triaging is the waterproof setting. Had to try that one out with a few rain parkas and some camping ponchos. Very impressive outcome. No tears, creases or entangled plastic messes. The wash cycles are long. Plan on at least an hour for most loads. That took some getting used to. The up side is the extra time used for spinning the washed load lessens the drying time. Running the dryer less is definitely a perk for energy saving. Other reviewers commented on the song the machine plays when the washing is finished. It’s kinda cute actually. Definitely better than a buzzer! And there is a different chime to alert for an error. We had one on the first day - unbalance code. This machine makes you think a little bit more about how you wash your clothes. Not a bad thing either. There is one feature I don’t like. But it may be a personal thing. I do not care for the location of the soap and fabric softener drawer. In the back is not helpful for those under 5’5”. Taking the drawer out to clean and dry out isn’t smooth either. If I’m to break anything on this washer first, it will most likely be that drawer! It can use some design improvement. I had a Whirlpool Duet set when they came out. The soap/beach/softener drawer was in the front left corner. We did add a step stool for me as at 5’2” I cannot touch the bottom of the drum for a sock or washcloth. I have one of those squeeze handle grabbers for those who can’t reach the top shelf and used that to grab the stray items from the bottom. As I mentioned above, drying time is literally 50% less time and heat used. I’m all about less heat and wrinkles. And the clothing literally comes out softer and cleaner too. We tried a king size plush weed blanket too. Folded it just like the manual says to. We used the bedding setting and walked away. The blanket was soft and thick, brighter and took less than 40 minutes to dry. We had some detergent pods left from our other washer and didn’t want to waste them so we didn’t use the soap dispenser for first few loads. We did use softener though and there were no issues. Don’t skip cleaning the machine every so many washes. It’s worth it. I wasn’t sure if it was a gimmick or a needed function when I read about it in the manual. It’s needed. Residue sticks to things like in your hair/skin or in your shower. Run the cycle as stated in the manual so the machine does its job On your clothes. We conducted an experiment. Husband is in landscape/hard & soft scrape. I’ve never seen him come home clean. We grabbed last seasons clothes we thought were clean and washed them just to see if our older machine was efficient. Nope. The wash water was so brown. And the clothes literally got last years stains out with ease. We recommend this washing machine. Overall score for us is a 4.6. We have to take off a point for the soap/softener drawer design. Another point for needing a step stool. 1 point for Best Buy requiring a new water line hook up kit rather strongly suggesting it. And the last point for not offering more than a 1 year factory warranty. For $800 - I would think the manufacturer would stand by their products for a little while longer. But we gave it 5 stars because it’s much better than a 4. ;)

So far so GOOD
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Only used it a handful of times in the last 3 weeks and it does clean very well. The only problem I had was on one load where there was still detergent residue left on 2 shirts after washing. So the next loads I added the extra water to the wash. Prior to purchasing I was reading the reviews and one stood out from the rest... people complaining about the jingle at the end of the cycle. YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME, people actually complained about something that turns itself off in matter of moments and the jingle isn't intrusive. Ahhhh the world we live in. I already washed some Sherpa Throws and was able to do 3 at a time, which was awesome. Then tried California king quilt with no problem.

Samsung Washer
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best washer I’ve ever owned. It does seem to take longer to do a load because of the 8 cycle but it cleans well. First washer without an agitator too and I love that because you can put more clothes in to clean and not having to worry about spreading the laundry around the thing!

Samsung top load washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love my Samsung washer! It’s spacious on the inside, enough room to wash big comforters and it not loud but you can hear it washing, so not super quiet but not enough noise either to be a bother!

great value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer set that works like a charm and fits my laundry area perfectly. I opted for the washer install package with parts. The first delivery did not go too well because it was determined that 2 of the numbers in my address were flipped so the first crew told me that could not deliver and I had to reschedule the install. The second crew that came a week later was great. I’ve been using the units for the past 2 weeks now and I can’t complain. My clothes are clean, the units are sleek, and they don’t make a lot of noice while running which is nice because I work from home and have opted to wash a load or two mid day. The washer can hold a nice amount of clothes and everything gets clean. The spin cycle is great and effectively gets just about 95% of all the water from my clothes which helps to ensure my dry time will be greatly reduced so I’m able to do more loads in a shorter span of time. Both the washer and dryer are really easy to use in my opinion but the star is the washer. All in all I would give the washer and dryer unit and the install service a 10 out of 10!!

Quiet and Large inside!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having nothing to say bad about this machine, I would say it's worth every penny. Washes comforters really well! Lost of space inside for larger loads. Some people say that it doesn't drain all the way and that items come out soaking wet sometimes. The problem is that they aren't reading the manual. There are different spin speeds, so they might just be on the wrong spin speed. If you do need an extra spin to drain out more, you just have to select rinse and spin, select the speed you want, then hold your finger down on spin until it beeps, they hit start. The machine is very quiet asswell.

Good… Not Great
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this washer after doing a lot of research. My previous washer name-brand “M” Conked out after four years and repair cost was 2/3 the cost of a new one… That being said this washer is great in all aspects except one… The spin cycle does not ring out the clothes very well and they are not just damp, sometimes they are actually still wet. This has increased our drying times tremendously… Other than that it is a good washer. It is quiet everything you read in the reviews is true, but it does not ring the clothes out very well in the spin cycle.

good machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My front loader washing machine went out and I got on line and did some research and pricing, then went and bought this machine the next day. The crew that installed it were great! I have been using the machine for about a month now and am very happy with it. Easy to operate and a large barrel with no agitator. It is a bit hard to reach to the bottom, but doable...great buy!!
