I research extensively before I make major purchases, and took particular care to learn all I could about the options for replacing my 20-year-old washer. I wasn't at all familiar with the new energy-saving technologies, and initially leaned toward buying another agitator-style washer despite the lower ratings on those models. However, after reading a number of reviews on bestbuy.com and other sources and consulting with the Best Buy employee in the appliance section, I decided to take a chance on the high-efficiency Samsung. I chose the top-loader over the front-loader because I didn't want to have to stoop down to load and unload the machine. I wasn't disappointed. In the first few weeks that we've had the washer we've run most of the several available cycles and all have performed flawlessly. We have not experienced any of the problems cited in some of the negative reviews, such as the clothes coming out twisted or not getting clean. I unreservedly recommend this Samsung model.

This washer replaced my Maytag Atlantis which was eleven years old. I've had this washer for over one month and it has been cleaning our clothing extremely well. Almost all dirt comes out of the bottom of white socks, and without using bleach - amazing!! I use the HE laundry detergent, so you don't get a lot of suds hence no residue on the clothes. It doesn't use much water, so that is an outstanding feature. It's quiet, super efficient, and I love the style.

This machine cleans better than any washer I have ever used. Easy to use, enormous capacity, and it plays a little song when it completes! Will never buy an "American" brand again.

This washer is a great buy. I did the install and all the setup myself, was very easy with the instructions. Runs quiet, and even plays a jaunty little tune to tell you when the cycle is done.

So far so good on the washer but the biggest down fall on this unit is that the back legs of the washer are NOT adjustable. We had to then build a platform for the washer to go on since out basement floor slopes to the floor drain to be able to get it to sit right. This information was not given to us by Best Buy that might be required. Every other washer that we have ever owned has had 4 adjustable legs. That is the only downfall of this machine, everything else is great.

I bought the washer for memorial day weekend. I got a good deal on it because I also bought the dryer. This washer fits all kinds of clothes. The only thing it needs it built in Wi-Fi. lol

We purchased both the washer and dryer. No problems with this overall. The only thing is the well of the washer is DEEP!! I'm 5'4 I have to stand tippy toed I could probably use a small step stool to get the clothes/items out. The detergent/softener area stays wet (I don't like that so I usually dry it up for whatever reason). Not too loud. I'm not sure if I can give an opinion on the steam dry feature yet. I have used it I wasn't pleased but I will try again (after reading the directions). I have seen just recently on the news the Samsung washer has potential to explode during use. I hope it is just a fluke otherwise they're screwed.

This is a sweet washing machine. Very quiet, it uses very little water, and gets our clothes cleaner than we've ever experienced! Simple to use and plenty of options for our average family.

This washer is quiet and cycles are smooth. It watches the water levels perfectly and stops when it is supposed to. I would recommend this washer to anyone.

love the washer my clothes are cleaner. I do wish there was a line on the barrel to fill clothes to so i can save energy and add what it will clean well and as much. I work and have a big family and if the laundry isn't level for spin i might not catch it until late and have to stay up to finish a load of laundry since they are in my basement.

After years of another washing machine and poor washing results I went looking for a new machine. A Samsung representative was at best buy and reviewed this machine for me. I bought it and have been happy with the results!!

Seems like a nice product. I'm a month in and works well and is very quiet. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the cheap plastic adjustable feet have broken already. My floor is sloped and I must have raised the feet too high and the plastic thread snapped. I wish they were metal. Other than that it works great.

Love, love, love the efficiency of this washer. Don't miss the center agitator on the old machine. Clothes never get caught or twisted. Clothes are clean with minimal water used.

This washer only has 3 leveling feet. Good luck leveling this machine if the fixed foot is sitting on the lowest point of your floor; because you will need to shim it. If this was a cost cutting move on the part of Samsung, it is a very sad commentary on the company and an insult to their customers. It's probably not a good idea to start a load and leave the house for the day: I discovered that the washer will not execute its final spin if the load is not balanced. Instead, it refills with water and tries to agitate the load into a balance state. It this doesn't work, it tries again and again. In my case it tried at least 4 times before I intervened and balanced the load by hand. This process requires a lot of extra water. At some point the machine might give up and display an error message, but the manual gives no indication of when this might happen.

This Samsung is everything we read it would be. The features and ease of use are fantastic. Its load capacity is huge and the sensors tell you just how much water is needed.

I purchased this washer after reviewing a slightly less upgraded model. I'm very pleased with it's performance. It is pretty quiet. Once I close the door to the laundry room, all you hear is a light swishing sound. The musical tones instead of the traditional loud buzzer is a nice touch.

We had a lot of problem with our frontload washer. Smaller load, unable to wash comforter and sleeping bags. Sometimes cycle would stop in middle and end up with very wet clothes to be dried. This washer seems to handle larger load better. Also, clothes seems to be cleaner. May use a little more water, but much less than conventional water.

We purchased this washer with the companion dryer to upgrade from a 15+ year old Kenmore set. So far, we love them both. It is amazing how much more clothes will fit into the non agitator style washer and to date, everything comes out good and clean. Dependent upon the wash cycle the range seems to be about 35 minutes for delicates up to 120 minutes for bedding but even that adjusts dependent upon how big of a load you are doing. I am 5'7" and occasionally a sock ends up at the bottom back of the tub that is a bit hard to reach but for the most part the depth of the tub is not an issue although it may be for some.

Quiet and fast. We ended up silencing the music tones and after that there is nothing to complain about. Highly recommend the Samsung washer and dryer
