Our needs for the washer was the size and the quality with which it would clean. This one does both. Never had any running issue. There was one incident where i overloaded the machine with some heavy clothing (read jackets - a bad idea). It never went to the spin cycle. The machine works fine post the incident though and didnt see any issue and saved the time calling the GEEK squad. Meets our requirement. Never checked for clean hard stains.

Washer is very efficient and quiet. It is a bit finicky with heavy or bulky loads. It will not allow for out of balance spinning at high speed. Which i suppose is a good and bad thing. It save on wear and tear of washer but can delay cycle until re-balanced. Overall, I am very pleased with its performance.

Love this thing, holds a lot of clothes and gets them really clean.

I bought this as a set with the dryer. I have had it for about a month now and so far it washes very well. Took some time to get use to all the new tech this washer has, but after reading the manual it wasn't too bad. This replaced a Kitchen Aid that I had for 15 yrs.. It was still working so I gave that set to my son. The basket is HUGE. We now do laundry every 2wks instead of once a week. So it will save money too.

Nice machine for huge loads. The schedule delivery was early and prompt. There was no installation, however it was really simple to hook up. You will need the basic hook up hoses and a draining hose extension. I got some of my parts from my local hardware store. Nothing extreme. The wash was great! I washed a small load and it cleaned very well and had the smell of detergent/fabric softener (makes a song at end of wash). The wash was about a half hour long, for the quick wash. So washing clothes with this baby is going to take a while. Great price and it has 10 year warranty. The controls are simple to understand from the manual as well.

Bought to replace my Samsung front loads that were still working great after 7 years but ready to get back to top load. I read A LOT of reviews on this machine... mostly good ones but definitely saw a few that weren't so great. Because of this I decided to put my own review out there. If you have had any experience with a "he" washer then you should enjoy this washer just fine. It's fantastic and so far operates exactly as its supposed to. It in fact washes much more efficiently than my Samsung front loads that were almost 2500 new, so to me this unit is a extremely good value. I have had no issues with balance, cleaning or any other issue thus far. Just like anything I'm sure there are units that do have issues, mine however works great and I'd highly recommend it. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I've only had it for a short time.

I spent 3 days looking at different model washers in stores before settling on this one. It is super quiet, does a great job. My clothes have never been so clean. The main thing with this washer and all top load HE washers is to make sure you follow instructions on proper loading!!! You cant just throw clothes in and go. As for load size I was able to wash a queen comforter and sheet set including pillow cases in one load still had a few inches of space to spare. Spin cycle on this machine is impressive. I have cut the amount of loads i wash in almost half. I would recommend this machine to anyone. One of the best priced HE top load machines.

After seeing that this washer was on sale and after reading the reviews I decided to take a chance on it. The delivery people were great. They came early, set up the washer, and ran it through a cycle to ensure there were no issues. The only odd thing to me was that the washer I received was an open box item, which wasn't specified on the website. When my wife and I ran our first load, the washer stopped during the spin cycle. I called customer service, who ordered a part that was mailed to my house and sent a technician out. Unfortunately, he was unable to fix the washer due to what he thought was an issue with the clutch. While that repair was covered, it would have taken a while to correct. Regardless, the whole process left us without a washer for a week and a half. After calling customer service again, they sent a replacement out but didn't offer anything for my loss of the washer, other than their apologies. I guess that's what you get with the big box stores these days. The new (in the box) washer was received a few days later and works fine...for the most part. The washer is supposed to be able to handle large loads of clothing, but whenever you put a large load in, it stops during the wash cycle and gives you an error message for having an unbalanced load. What's the point of buying a large capacity washer if it can't handle large loads? Needless to say, you have to limit how many pieces of clothing you put in the washer at one time and you'll have to readjust the wet clothing if the load becomes unbalanced. Other than that, the washer seems to work as designed. I wish the alarm notifications for errors and for when the wash cycle is completed were a bit louder, but otherwise this is a decent purchase for the price. It washes our clothes but I wouldn't consider it anything special.

I purchased this washer to replace my broken machine. This washer works great and you can wash larger loads like comforters, etc;

Overall not a bad washer but there is one trap. It was supposed to be a low annual energy use efficient washer. Indeed this washer may not use a lot of electric energy but on the other hand the hot water consumption of this washer is huge. You can certainly save some $/year while running this washer but you will pay extra $$/year for a hot water in your heater.

Replaced our 10-yr old Kenmore with center agitator with this AWESOME machine. Quiet, efficient, spins clothes dry ... drum is 50% larger than what I was using ... can do entire household (4) in just 2-3 loads!

I'm not sure what other people experience was like the washing machine is quite and very easy to use, but it does not wash clothes good and I have a new born. I will be finding me another washing machine with the piece in the middle they wash great I wasted my money on this washing machine.

Dryer has large basket almost like two loads in one.would recommend to friend.

This washer DOES NOT CLEAN!!! This is the worst washer I have ever used. Clothes do not come out clean, some come out looking exactly like I put them in, wrinkled and hard or bunched up. Sometimes I think they come out with more stains than they went in with. Washrags come out smelling dirty and nasty, like they were never run through a washer. The only cycle you can get anything halfway clean on is heavy duty, heavy soil, aquajet deep clean, and that takes 2.5 hours. I also found out the settings on the washer are wrong. The hot is cold and vice versa, we checked the hoses and everything is hooked up properly, the washer is just programmed wrong. I called Best Buy support who transferred me to Samsung. The said a technician was going to call me in 24-48 hours to ask me some more questions. That was a week ago. No one called, washer still doesn't work right. It is less than 3 months old. I am so pi**ed about this giant heap of c**p I spent good money on. Will never buy another Samsung product and I definitely won't be buying from Best Buy, a lot of help either of them were.

Lovely quiet machine, had for a little over 6 months and thus far (touch wood) no issues whatsoever!

Good - does big loads of laundry. There are a lot of cycle options. Bad - Cycles take a long time to wash.

Very efficient washer and was reasonably priced for the product.

It has to be the quietest washing machine i have ever seen. Clothes come out nice and clean and comforters fit just fine inside it. Has been working great for a month now.

I purchased this washer as an "Open Box" item. It has already been 1 year and no problems so far. I bought the Geek Squad Protection so I'm not worried for a few more years!

I was originally hesitant to get a washer without a agitator, wondering if clothes can really get clean if they are not violently yanked around in 2 to 3 feet of water. Well let me tell you, they do get very clean, and now without them getting stretched and damaged. It's very quiet, and I'm using less soap now then before. Also I can wash my entire bedding, comforter included in a single wash. And no more untangling clothes that gotten trapped by a agitator. Beautiful to look at too.
