Purchased this for my kitchen to replace a 32" non smart tv. Perfect size, don't care for the new remote over the older ones. Interestingly this tv's OS will not allow you to play AVI files whereas previous models would.

Highest quality tv available with my size restrictions, works well with a clear picture. Apps easy to activate and work well. Using Netflix, Prime and Hulu.

TV is very easy to install, very easy to operate and has wonderful picture quality. I don’t have any complaints.

This Samsung comes in highly rated. The picture is clear, and I have had no issues with the setup. HDMI ports have responded to well, and setup was easy.

Love this Samsung tv! Has all the apps I use, and now it even supports Apple AirPlay! Works great, picture quality is really good for its price.

So I've had Samsung tvs for years. Started with a 4k back in 2014 and regularly research and purchase Samsung tvs only. So I have a mu6500 curved and this nu7100 flat currently. They use the same software but in YouTube, this TV gives a video preview unlike the older model. Dissatisfied with the remote I wanted the smart remote like the 6500 but can't win em all. I paid 250 for this TV and would buy again but never saw that price again.

Samsung has broken the code on smart TVs. I love the way the streaming apps are built right in, with no “casting” required. The picture is great.

I picked up this last years model 40” 4K Samsung 7 series TV on clearance for my in-laws. The 40” size is no longer made, so I think I was lucky to find it. (Replacing an old 32” with wide bezel, so it just fit). I was looking at the 40” Vizio but it’s picture was not as good (color saturation, contrast) as the Samsung in the store, even after adjusting the Vizio. I was able to update firmware so AppleTV app and AirPlay are now enabled. When Airplaying to TV, image automatically comes up without any input switching. When AirPlay stopped, image goes back to original input. Very convenient. PS: Ease of Use score only applies to AirPlay, does not apply to access/use of the many apps that are included — like most “smart” TVs, this is where things get confusing for a lot of people.

Overall, this television has been very good so far. It was easy to take out of the box and set up. The picture quality is fantastic, and the smart technology provides easy, automatic switching between cable TV and my Blu-Ray player. The sound is the only weakness that I've noticed. At low volumes, the speaker quality is fine, but when I need to turn up the volume (such as when watching a DVD video), the sound quality isn't as good. Also, a large increase in the volume setting seems to be needed to get a noticeable change in the volume that is heard. A sound bar accessory might be a good idea with this television. My only other comment is that it would have been nice if the television came with a HDMI cable to connect to the cable box. For the most part though, I'm happy with this television so far.

For the price, this was too tempting not to try as a desktop monitor, but it turned out to be overkill for that purpose; we returned it for a 32" monitor that works well alongside a smaller 1080 monitor for a double screen setup. Best Buy's liberal return policy made it easy for us to narrow down the best choice for us. It's hard to go wrong with Samsung, the smart features are smarter and the interface for fine tuning easier to use, with plenty of connection options.

Bought this TV after reading tons of reviews and lots of research. This tv has a great picture and the apps are very easy to use and get around on.

Bought this for my parents and they love it. It’s light.... simple to use and provides a great picture for the price. A solid tv for casual viewing.

So far, so good. Beautiful picture, easy to operate. Then again, have'nt taken advantage of all its features yet, but look forward to doing so.

I bought this tv for my daughter's bedroom for Christmas. I originally bought a Samsung 32 but returned it as it was way too small. This tv is hands down better than the other 40 inch TVs on the market. My daughter loves it. The legs are tall enough that her cable box fits underneath it. The tv is on her bookshelf so I needed a tv that would fit on the bookshelf. I probably could have gotten the 43 inch version of this tv to fit but it would have been pretty tight on her bookshelf. She is extremely pleased with this tv.

Very happy overall with this TV. Very smart easy set up. It even figured out my HD antenna, programmed all the stations and named them without me doing a thing (other than connectng it). Best viewing angle is straight on. Diminishes from the sides, but it didn't cost $2K either! Good buy for the money. The only negative is they do not include the screws needed to mount on a wall mount bracket. The day I bought it there were three other people at Home Depot looking for the right screws which are not a common size.

Excellent picture quality, good sound, immediate on/off, easy use of netflix and other premium channels. Great value for the price!

For what you get, it’s an all around Best Buy (see what I did there) for the size and price. Great for gaming or binge watching.
