A couple improvements needed to make it great
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's start with cons first, of which there are a few. - No speaker but includes 3.5mm jack input. However, 3.5mm doesn't really work when I used my headphone. - 3.5mm, perhaps 2nd one, should probably be placed in front of monitor but location is right in the back next to DP, HDMI, other plugs. - Auto Source Switch+ doesn't work. Some reviews claim it is a firmware issue. I just know it doesn't switch between laptop and desktop only when one is on, when trying one or the other. - This leads to having to use physical button daily. For work with laptop, gaming with desktop, one would have to constantly use button and if button stops working from daily use, this ends up being a bad investment. So, I would recommend getting DP or HDMI switch. These cons aren't deal breaker enough for me to justify returning/exchanging right now. I do plan on getting DP or HDMI switch that can handle hi rez, hi refresh rates to mitigate the auto switching issue. Pro (so far) - Wonderful 5K2K resolution, making viewing real estate much better for remote work and gaming - 120hz to 180hz frame rate, where I used to play with just 60hz. This increased rate makes overall PC and gaming experience way more pleasant. - One of the more affordable 5K2K major brand monitors that exist on market right now - Very light for its size, which I believe is less than 20lb, making it a good option to use monitor arm mount. - Picture in Picture option: allows one to use two sources at once - 1000R curvature: That to me a sweet spot compared to a more aggressive 800R curvature.

decent 40in odyssey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The built-in menu, the features, they're not what i expected for the price of the monitor. The overall quality and satisfaction, plus the HDMI 2.1, plenty of ports and a USB 3.0 hub are enough to justify- but the most advantageous and reason I bought the monitor was for the 5k2k resolution in ultrawide format. If you know what you are looking for and don't care for the OLED hype, this monitor is an excellent buy especially if it is on sale. the viewing angles are great, too. HDR 600 does not seem as vibrant though as other monitors of the same caliber, not sure why, it might be user error.
