Best 43” tv at Best Buy.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved my last lg tv so I bought the 43” lg. Well that tv was too dark no matter what settings you used. This 6300 Samsung is not perfect but it’s the best at this size. It checks all the boxes on Xbox one x. It may not be the best hdr or even might have fake hdr but it checks the boxes and you can see the difference. Using the web is easy with the remote and the apps work great. Go to manage external devices to turn on the game mode and HDR. The normal picture has the soap opera effect but it you don’t like that you can turn it off like I do. Quality tv.

Pixel in screen was blown so returned

Very good TV for various uses
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose this 43” TV to upgrade my LG LJ5500 because I wanted 4K HDR. It’s a very good TV for sports, movies and gaming on my PS4. Some people knock it because the 43” 6300 uses an IPS (In plane switching) panel and the other sizes uses VA (Vertical Alignment) panels, so adjust the backlighting to your preference. This TV is easy to set up and easy to use. The apps are great. If you want to set up this TV on a wall mount, buy a set of M8 pan head screws with the right length, since these are Samsung’s recommended screws. I’d recommend this TV to anyone looking to upgrade to 4K.

It was so easy to connect and set up. The picture quality is excellent, better than expected. It's very easy to navigate as well. We love it!

Absolutely stunning 4k picture quality for a TV in this price range. Was even impressed with the ease of set-up. Samsung has their act together!

Best 75" for My Money

Shopped Sony, LG, & Samsung 75" inchers Sony was Okay [it started as my #1 choice, finished 3rd] LG OLED set were stumping me, knew they problems holding calibration levels after setting, suspected Blue fading over time, & burn-in problems. All through other experience & reviews. Came down to the QLED Q7FAM Samsung model which Samsung started as 3rd for shopping as I did not care for the small remote. But i'll tell ya I stood equal distance from LG OLED & Samsung QLED & the Samsung just Dazzled & Blew me away . Brilliant color & extreme sharpness & clarity. Needless to say I took the Samsung & am a very happy Viewer / User.

All you need is your zip code for local OTA channels (if you don't have cable), wifi password and your Netflix/Prime passwords, or whatever streaming program you use. Picture is great, it found my local channels from my antenna with just the zip code. I wish I could edit the default apps on the home screen but that's a minor detail. The remote works GREAT with voice commands, much better than Siri who doesn't understand a word I say. Love this tv!

All the bells and whistles but poor color quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to use this with the Nvidia Shield TV which supports HDR but once I turn on UHD color the tv no longer detects a signal. I use this same device with my LG OLED and it works without issue. Without UHD Color enabled I assume I'm not getting the best picture. The colors seem washed out and the whole display seems dim. I double checked the eco settings to make sure they were not turned on and they are not. Brightness is at max and so is the backlight. I also have a 43 inch LG HUxxx (can't remember the model number) and it looks A MILLION times better and it costs less. I realize this is a budget samsung so I don't expect OLED quality but the LG is also budget and the picture is better. Now the plus side. The interface is quite nice. I actually wish it supported networked tv tuners because I wouldn't even use the nvidia shield then. It is way better than LGs horrible interface which is slow and unresponsive. I love the remote's simplicity and functionality. I do wish the voice control button would map to the nvidia shield voice control button but that is probably an unrealistic request. As far as a conclusion. I want to return this tv and get the x800e from Sony but sadly bestbuy is sold out so i'll probably just make this a guest room or kids room tv.

Pretty good so far, after tech help

The Samsung live chat tech was eventually able to improve it a lot but the picture was still not satisfactory. He said it might be the Blu-ray player (also purchased that day) and suggested I switch to my comp. I was skeptical but the dimly lit scenes played fine - actually a little too bright, which I easily fixed in the "expert settings" area. I switched back to the Blu-ray player and -- all fixed, go figure! The remote takes some playing with: I still have to use voice commands to access some menu functions, which is kind of annoying. The sound is fine. Would give this TV a 4.5 if it the current quality continues for a few months.

The only thing I don't like about it is the remote . I am a channel surfer and I think the flimsy buttons are not going to hold up . What was Samsung thinking

Complete waste of money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like most people, I purchased this tv based on the reviews and for the first several months it held up to the praise it received. Now 10 months later, my television no longer stays connected to WiFi, despite every other device in the house remaining connected. Everyday I’d have to physically disconnect the modem and reconnect it to reestablish WiFi connection. Which is quite difficult being that the cable box and modem is mounted on the wall! I had AT&T come out to try and correct the problem to no avail. Several calls to Samsung Support also deemed useless. Every solution they offered was only a temporary fix, 2 days later I’m having the same problem. Finally decided to Google this issue to see if there are others having this problem. To my surprise, there are THOUSANDS having the exact same issue. Samsung refuses to address or even correct the problem in its newer model televisions. For that reason alone DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG SMART TV....
