We appreciate your feedback on the CU7000 TV remote. Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust the volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for more than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appear. You can find more information regarding the remote on pages 24-26 of the full user manual.
You can also learn how to use your remote directly from your TV. Just go to Home> (left directional button) Settings> Support> Remote Control Guide.

Especially when we wanted it so we could watch television in our semi truck. It wouldn't let us download several of our applications, like, HULU, DISCOVERY CHANNEL, etc. So we returned it and just used our old tv that had these on it.

We appreciate your purchase and are happy you are enjoying the 4K picture quality! To connect your external Alexa device to your CU7000 TV, please follow the below steps:
1. Download both the Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings apps if you don't already have them. Both are available for iOS or Android devices.
2. Make sure your Alexa device and TV are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
3. Your TV must be enabled within the SmartThings app. If not, ensure you are signed in with your Samsung account on the TV. Go to Settings > All Settings> General, then select System Manager > Samsung Account.
4. Log in to the SmartThings app with the same Samsung account. Tap Devices; if your TV isn’t already shown, tap + to add it to the app.
5. In the Alexa app, enable the SmartThings skill and sign in to your Samsung account. This will automatically connect your Samsung TV to Alexa and let you use voice commands to control your television.
