Q: does this model come with a remote control with channel numbers on remote
A: No, there is only one number button to click which then prompts the number selection on the screen. Also, there is no mute button, you have to press down the volume button for mute. Just have to get use to it.
Q: Does it have a coax receiver ?
A: Hi Les, The TU7000 has 3 HDMI ports, 1 USB port, 1 digital optical audio input, 1 ethernet port, 1 RF antenna input, and is both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled. ~Samsung Advisor
Q: Can I use this to stream Netflix or hulu with wifi but NO cable subscription?
A: Hi Deb, You do not need a cable subscription to access streaming devices such as Netflix or Hulu. You will need Wi-Fi and a subscription to the individual Streaming app. The CU7000 TV also comes with Samsung TV Plus, which offers hundreds of free channels! ~Samsung Advisor
Q: Will the CU7000 work with the DishNetwork "Dish Anywhere" app? Thanks!
A: No, it doesn’t. I’m the one who originally asked this question, and have since purchased this model. The Dish Anywhere app by Dish Network is not one of the available apps in the TV’s App Library.
Q: Will the CU 7000 series play AT&T's Direct Streaming service WITHOUT having to pay AT&T for a "box"?
A: Hi Bear, The CU7000 does off the DirecTV Streaming app, in which you do not need a cable box. You will need a subscription through DirecTV. ~Samsung Advisor
A: Mine came with Y shaped legs that raise the bottom about 4 in off surface. Surface must be 12 in deep and as long as tv to fit comfortably
Q: can you use this tv for spectrum tv
A: Yes I have spectrum cable in the living room and I use the spectrum app to stream cable to the Samsung tvs in the rest of the house. Only have to pay for cable in one room and only need one cable box
A: Our use for this TV will be for serving as a large size computer monitor. To do this, you simply use an HDMI cable to connect directly to laptops. If your computer has a VGA output, you can get a VGA to HDMI converter. I have seen USB (standard and USB-C) to HDMI converters as well that work with tablets but have never used one. Your tablet may also have a mini or micro HDMI or DisplayPort output already. Check your manual. If so, you can get converters (sometimes it is a cable) to go from these smaller sized video outputs to full size HDMI connections. Bottom line is, what you want to do should not be a problem with the right converters and cables.
