Sometimes when my ps5 would disconnect, the tv wouldnt reconnect to it or only show a solid green screen so I would then have to factory reset it. Fine TV for streaming, awful for gaming.

Thank you for your purchase and feedback on gaming with the CU8000 TV. I have a few troubleshooting steps for you to try to prevent your PS5 from shutting off.
Your PS5 has a feature called HDMI Device Link that allows your TV to turn on immediately when you power on your PS5. This can cause the PS5 to shift into Rest Mode. To disable, go to the PS5 Settings> System> HDMI> Disable.

He is in a nursing home due to minimal usage of his arms/legs due to MS. This tv was purchased for the features, mirroring, voice remote, and apps. He loves it. Such a great purchase, the ease of it helps with his handicap.

TV sometimes has a mind of it's own. Very difficult to learn how to operate it with other devices, such as Firestick and tv cable and DVD recorder. Needed HDMI converters for DVD recorder. TV named the DVD recorder as an xfinity cable box. I'd like to reset it to factory condition and start over but can't see how.

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about the issues you are experiencing with the CU8000. Please know we are here to help. To reset your TV go to Settings >Support >Device Care >Self Diagnosis >Reset Smart Hub.
For instructions on how to use your TV, you can find this guide on Samsung's website by clicking Support (upper right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater > Crystal UHD TVs. From there, you can select the CU8000 under Crystal UHD TVs and download the manual.
The e-Manual is also embedded into the TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.
