    This is the second one. First one had the screen going black intermittently from the start. I returned it easily, no problems and exchanged for a new one, same set. This one is fine

    Had to manually connect the TV to Direct TV. Auto sync couldn’t find the TV. Everything else is great. I would recommend this TV to anyone.

    It mounts tight to the wall. Great tv. Was hoping to get by with the tizen for streaming but still had to add a Roku stick.

    Great TV used in the bedroom with the timer to be able to fall asleep while watching. We had to move up to th eCU8000 model to get Wi-Fi capability

    Works as it should. Picture is good. Could use a few more features for the the money like built in casting and a sports picture mode. Sound is not bad for a tiny tv. Nice and light and looks good hanged.

      The CU8000 TV does have the ability to pair with external devices such as your cell phone and screen mirror via Apple Airplay, Tap View, or the SmartThing App.

      When watching fast-motion images, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings.

      - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
      - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
      - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

    I bought this online. My old Samsung just quit after about 10 years. Being on a fixed income my limit was $500. There are so many brands I relied on brand name because my other Samsung was so reliable. I have learned the hard way, don't make the same mistake. I have owned this CU8000 less than 24 hours----it is going back as soon as I can find someone to help. For starters using the remote is a nightmare! Samsung has decided to be a streaming source which is very confusing. They really should stick to being builders. The Samsung app is given top billing over every other app. The picture is strange. It seems to be needing a tweak for a sharper images. The most important reason it is going back is the sound system is bad, even worse than you would expect for aTV. Normal playing of an app has to be above 80 to clearly hear it BUT when a commercial comes on it will blast your eardrums. You have to hit mute or be forced to turn volume up and down for commercials. I read Samsung's response to someone who mentioned the sound, all I can say is there is a huge gap in volume and Samsung's response makes no sense. It is NOT covering why commercials are nearly 3 times as loud when they come on. I am disheartened to have paid almost as much as the TV for set up, delivery and haul away as I did for the TV and now I have to start over. I will be going into the store because I trust Best Buy selections and service but I am pretty sure it will not be this brand.

      First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update and update from there.

      Next, regarding the sound. Please know that there are Settings available that base the volume on past usage. For example, the Adaptive Sound feature automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.

      Next, go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On. This will help with your low volume.

      Finally, there are several sound modes that are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode.

      Also, you can learn how to use your remote directly from your TV. Just go to Home> (left directional button) Settings> Support> Remote Control Guide.

    Inexpensive, good video quality, easy installation. Built in audio quality doesn’t measure up though. Need to factor in the cost of a compatible sound bar, or connect to a stereo system.

    I went into thr store to buy a cheap Fire TV for my office, and i let the salesman convince me to purchase this model. While the picture quality is great, i have had nothing but issues with this unit. The apps, includimg the Direct TV app, is an older version which won't let me log in. I can't customize the app home screen and remove some of the built-in apps, and the wifi signal drops periodically. I still had to add a Fire TV stick to mkae this work. I should have purchased a cheap Fire TV.

      First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. To ensure you do not miss any Firmware Updates, I recommend enabling Auto Updates. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update> then select Auto Update.

      Next, let's try running a cold boot on your TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.

      To customize the apps on your Home Screen, go to Home> Apps> Edit. To add new apps to your screen go to Home> Apps> Search for the app you want to add> Long hold on the app and click "Add to Home Screen."

    Great Tv and what the bonus was Best Buy had it in stock. 20 min later I had it plugged into my outlet at my place. Fantastic!
