    After I purchased my first Samsung TV in 2008, I purchased many Samsung TVs and never bought any other brand. I recommended this brand of TV to everyone until last week I gave up my 2011 Samsung TV and bought this TV for my office room. The TV doesn’t respond to the remote perfectly but the main problem is that this stupid (not smart) TV doesn’t play any of my films in avi format!!! mkv films don’t have sound either!! I called Samsung and the lady put me on hold to talk to the developer team; then she confirmed that TV doesn’t play the regular avi codec and all avi movies have to be converted to the new codec!!!!! So I have to convert hundreds of old family films out of camcorder (all have avi format) and many avi movies or just return back this Samsung shame back to them. I certainly chose the second option!

    This tv has been a great buy to repmace the old tv in my bedroom. Needed a nice smart tv as we are cutting the cord and this has been a nice upgrade
