Had this TV for 4 years and it’s been amazing it’s been one of the best TVs i’ve owned solely because it’s reliable. If you need something for your bedroom that’s not too fancy this is an excellent choice

    My Samsung 43" tv

I've had this 43" since 2019 and it has been a great tv. I still have two other Samsung tv's. When I purchased it, I bought a warranty with it and it is paying off, as I'm getting a newer model at no cost. Thank you.

Great picture & Sound, WiFi majorly lacking

Initially I would have given this TV 5 stars, but after about 2 weeks of owning, it dropped the WiFi connection and now drops it daily. This is not a router issue, nothing else in the house drops. As it turns out, on Samsung's website forums, there are multiple issues with the WiFi connections going back to at least 2017 on a bunch of their TVs. No software updates have fixed this issue. Before this, I had an Insignia Roku TV, of which picture and sound was horrible, but it never once dropped WiFi. Some Samsung TVs have the option to turn off a setting called "Always On", which essentially reboots the TV when turned off/on and it will fix the connection. This TV however, does not have that setting so the only fix was to unplug the TV. I have however discovered a permanent fix and that was to wire the TV and not use wireless. I know that this will not be an option for everyone though. As such, I have to leave my final judgment as beware of the WiFi. Side note: I have this hooked up to a Samsung Soundbar w/ wireless woofer. The Insignia TV did not play well with the soundbar. This TV however, seems to have unlocked the full potential of the soundbar and the sound quality is simply amazing.

    Suddenly broke after 4 years

I bought this tv back in 2019 and today it finally broke. I noticed half of the screen was darker than the other half today and figured it was finally on its way out. What i didnt expect it to do was suddenly shut down and start making noises that sounded very worrisome. I wonder what could have caused it to break down so suddenly. Seeing that it is now not being sold, I may not be the only one to experience this with this specific model.

Hands down the ddumbest TV I've ever had the displeasure of owning. Doesn't save settings (like swithc it to game mode on later it turns it off) and theres this annoying bar that comes out everytime you leave the settingss that you cant turn off. in part its to advertise their other products but since when did we buy products with built in ads? little too much like those knock off Chinese phones (a few came out with ads that were later cancelled if im not mistaken). Worst smart T.V you can by right now. plus HDMI always has issues on top of its terrible sound quality. My 1080p panasonic trash still beasts this T.V in terms of consumer friendly features. When will these company's understand that they have no right to force features on for o"our benifit" if i can't turn certain features off that are causing problems due to them being built poorly, then how is it for my benifit? its not. I only went with samsung since they started off building T.V's before making phones and yet they suck this bad. smh.

I’m not a technology professional, but I consider myself to be good with tech. I’ve never had a problem setting up devices and am usually the go-to person to set up devices for my family. That being said, setting up this TV was a nightmare. The TV software is slow. I find the reaction time to be sluggish and frustrating. After turning off the TV for an extended period of time, when turning it back on, the picture was distorted and shaky. After resetting to factory settings TWICE, I finally did some online research and discovered that this is a KNOWN GLITCH with the TV. It’s even on Samsung’s website. Did Best Buy tell me about this? Nope. Samsung advises updating the software. Problem is that there is not enough space on the TV to do so, which means you have to download the update to a flash drive on a computer and then plug the flash drive into the TV. After about one hour of text-charting with Samsung support (actually very helpful), I got it to work. Now the problem is that I cannot connect to my network via Ethernet (only wirelessly). No matter what I do, it says that my LAN cable is not connected...but it is. The customer support agent suggested a new cable, which I found on amazon and will give a try when I receive it, but based on what I have read online, I am not hopeful. Apparently this is another KNOWN GLITCH with this TV. There is a good chance that I will be returning this piece of garbage to Best Buy and going back to my nearly 10-year old, 32” Panasonic TV that has NEVER given me any problems.

it is a nice looking tv. works pretty smooth. I dont understand the reviews about the tv having good viewing angle. My first and last samsung tv purchase. I use mine on a table in front of my recliner for gaming. the viewing angle sucks, I purchased this online after talking to rep in SF over phone. So hopefully they'll let me return this garbage. Viewing angle: directly in front of tv a little above center line great picture. directly in front below center line sitting in recliner the picture gets darker the lower your view below center line. Viewing from the side of center of the tv colors are washed out, like its too bright. so unless you can mount this tv on the wall and have it tilted exactly towards you the picture is compromised. cheap junk with a moderate price
