Great tv... until...

Great TV... until I reached the end of my 2 year protection when the back light went out. Is this the normal outcome for a tv? Mine never seem to last longer than a couple of years.

Horrible picture quality

We had a horrible time setting this TV up out of the box, and we are not electronically illiterate. Once we got it hooked up (also-no screws were included for the legs, so that stinks), we were HIGHLY disappointed. First of all, it wouldn’t pick up any sports channels, and no local channels. We called our cable company, and they said it was the TV, and not our cable- the other 4 TVs in the house worked fine. The picture quality is about 75% worse than it was in the store! We have tweaked every single thing on it, and it is still awful. We called the store, and the associate was absolutely no help whatsoever. This is going back for an exchange. Very disappointed in our first Samsung purchase.

Like most TVs sold at bestbuy, this is disappointment. Bestbuy sells defective junk.

Mediocre Picture - Terrible WIFI

Bought TV Back in August 2019 - Mediocre Picture at best, fuzzy, not clear picture. I am connected directly to spectrum cable. Edges not what I expect from WIFI. Truthfully, my 2011 Sharp Aquos Quattron 65 inch TV still one of the most AMAZING pictures on a TV I have seen. Ask anyone who comes over. They are all blown away. Dont ask me why. It is what it is.
Wifi connectivity on Samsung 43 inch is terrible. Wifi in room where TV is reaches 99 mbps plus. Manuf. said TV needs minimum of 5 mbps to run Apps, such as Netflix. Netflix looks like barely 1999 dial up quality, or poorer. Horrible picture. Samsung went into my TV via remote access and said TV is only getting 2 mbps wireless strength. He said processor weak on TV and WIFI Antenna bad, so I would have to do WIFI direct connect to TV to get good wifi connectivity signal.
Bringing TV back to Best Buy. This is a DUD. Very disappointing this is a Samsung product. I expected much more.

43" series 7 STUPID TV

I had a 40" Series 6 LED TV which is connected to a NAS with 1.25Tb of video files of various types (.avi, .mkv, etc.).
I bought a new Series 7 43",, Series 6 died R.I.P.
Unfortunately, hardly any of my video library will play on the new set! Either file not supported or audio format not supported.
I've checked and have the latest firmware...
I copied a sample of the files that would not play onto a USB stick and returned to the store.
The files wouldn't play on any Series 7 TV but they would play on any Series 6.
The files also played perfectly on LG, Sony, etc.
After considering all of my options I walked out of the store.

Nice TV when it worked.

This is why I usually wait to write reviews. I've had this TV for 2.5 year. At about 2 years, half the screen started to lose its brightness. For the life of the TV it had to be unplugged and plugged back in because the wireless connectivity wouldn't work. Today the screen quit working altogether. Thanks, Samsung. This is the second TV this has happened to. Thankfully the first time the TV was still under the manufacturer's warranty.

My Daughter purchased this television Feb 15 2020 and it stopped working March 30 2020. Unfortunately with the current pandemic she is not able to get it repaired. I would have thought Samsung would have a better quality.

This TV wouldn't load netflix and froze at 15% when I tried to reset it. Googled netflix issues with samsung and quickly decided to return it and got an LG that works perfectly

Bad product, capacitors are faulty. Won’t replace

The Samsung LED TVs all have a bad capacitor, it will die within 3 years. Do not buy, or at least pay the extra $$ for the extended warranty. Samsung will do nothing for you. Horrible TV for what you pay for.
