This was a great purchase, also I used my rewards certificates and picked it up for $129.98.

But remember......240 Motion rate is the one to buy..! You must inquire about this number. There is 60, 120, and 240 motion rate as now..If I am not wrong....Obviously the 240 motion rate is a lot more expensive than 60 and/or 240..

I like the TV

But move to a side view and the picture fades significantly. I had to adjust the TV to turn towards my wife’s chair to keep her happy. Our older LG the same size has far less pixels but doesn’t fade on the side. I may not keep the Samsung for this reason.

Good value, poor software and viewing angle

Out of the box, the poor software quality showed its head. Netflix did not work until after a restart. The motion flow is awful compared to Sony's - I disabled it, but it re-enabled itself after turning the TV off and on. The viewing angle is fairly poor due to this being a VA panel, however the TV does have a far better contrast ratio than comparable IPS panels (such as from LG).
