I own a 2017 7 Series from Samsung. This one is even better. The difference is slight but the Picture adapts to the room so much better. In my bedroom the Dynamic Picture will adjust to the ambient light so at night the picture darkens but brightens during the day. Awesome! I am buying a third this summer.

From removing the parts from the box to completing the setup, I had the TV up and running in less than 20 minutes. The 7 Series has one of the best pictures in the 43 inch price range. The add bonus for me was that it recognize my video provider and the remote allowed me to access all the basic functions of my FiOS remote.

I normally buy Sony TVs but didn’t want to spend the extra hundreds on it. My biggest surprise was this tv having a built in Apple TV. Makes it very easy to use this tv when you own a Apple phone. The picture is fantastic, the only down side is that they don’t give you access to all android apps. Like the Sony tv does.

Wonderful tv . Really sharp pictures. Easy to set up

This TV is very functional, I have a larger series 7 in my living room they are awesome if you have a Samsung phone or use more apps that cable. Its fluid for entertainment purposes. The only down side is that the clarity of the screen isn't as good as other TVs it's same price but lower model esteem, and the remote is abysmal to navigate when the lights are out. There are like 400 buttons and it doesn't light up to help you.

Great picture, sound ok could be better, Remote is very poor quality, navigation is Hard, very hard to set up Hulu, prime, Netflix. Be prepared to spend at least an hour to set those up. Stand is Very bad because you have to have a tv stand that is very long or your dresser , series 6 Stand was way Better. This series 7 could use series 6 stand. Samsung has great TVs but do your research on this TV before you buy.

I bought this TV for my son, who just started a new job in Milwaukee. The WI FI network hookup was easy. The picture and sound quality have been excellent. The smart features have been nice, not needing another device to connect with YouTube TV. I have had other Samsung TV's over the years, always good quality!

Great TV. I bought it as my TV to watch cable and to plug my MacBook in as a bigger screen. Glad I bought this instead of an ultrawide. Love it!!

Worked great since bought. Within the last year it continually drops internet connection. The tv is hardwired and static on ip. I have used the wireless for several days to test and it also drops connection. I have multiple tvs and they don’t lose connection. The software is up to date and checked for viruses with non found.

Great picture and many options to customize to your own needs. Sleep timer, different sounds options like movie, optimized, voice, etc. Can easily access the internet and Netflix and several other internet channels Can also access your Facebook on line and see all your posts on the larger screen.

First sound bar worked intermittently, then not at all. Best Buy exchanged it with another new one. The second one was difficult to get the woofer synched up. Factory tech sent procedures on how to re-set sound bar, then sync worked ok. Now that it is working, I like the sound. I'm just using the optical connection with TV, and it works fine. Plenty of bass up to the point my wife will allow.

Initially I was very disappointed with the picture. Very dark and not clear. I tried all the various settings suggested in the on line manual. I finally did a google search for Samsung 7100 dark picture. I found a YouTube video explaining how to bypass the TVs primal programming. Once I reprogrammed the TV I was amazed at how good the picture is. BUT it is hassle that you should not have to do.

I'm pleased with this tv. Vibrant color, good sound, easy set up. I'm a happy camper!

I have last year's NU 7100 set in the 40" variety - picked up this new 43" RU 7100 set for my neighbor for their master bedroom. Setup was a breeze, and the picture quality is amazing for the price. Menu navigation is quick with minimal lag/delays/etc. Would recommend! Its only a little more than the 6 series.
