Fast-moving scenes will sometimes get grainy when watching older shows and movies on HD cable stations. Very clear watching football and hockey on prime time HD cable channels (as an example).

Had to run Optical that I didn't really want to do. Otherwise the TV is NICE! I'm an analog guy like most stereo nuts are so was planning on the RCA jacks.

Fits my needs for virtually all my viewing

The picture sort of washes out. I found that to be true of my set, but almost all my viewing is from straight-on, so it isn't an issue with me. I've noticed that lip movement isn't quite synchronized with the voice, and it seems to be more noticeable on one station versus others. I don't know if that is an issue with the TV, the cable, or how it was installed. Once again, it's not a big issue with me.
