Good Interface Features But Poor Picture Quality

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Samsung 7 SERIES RU7100 43" Ultra HDTV has good user interface and connection features and quality industrial design I've come to expect from Samsung, but the picture quality is sub-standard because it has very poor viewing angle capability. I've owned many Samsung TVs and this is the first one I am disappointed in. I am returning this TV and may replace it with either last year's 2018 Samsung N5300 series HDTV or an LG UM7300 series model with an IPS panel for it's LED display. The Samsung 7 SERIES RU7100 is extremely sensitive to viewing angle both left-right and up-down. If you sit right in front of the screen and have it tilted at just the right angle the picture is beautiful. But... if you watch from off to the side or have the TV on a stand / dresser etc that's not the perfect angle the picture and color becomes very washed out. I cannot recommend this model unless you'll be watching it at the perfect angles.
