Awesome Tv, previously i got Sony for a few days and returned it to get this samsung. i am not a picture and quality expert but the colors are wonderful. Also for gaming with my xbox one it's awesome !

Before installing I need to complete my remodeling in the room where it will be used. Daughter and brother have this tv and both are pleased and I am impressed with their picture quality. Looking forward to getting mine hooked up.

its an awesome piece of technology, the colors and the picture are very clear and detailed, I like that the frame of the tv is very thin, most of what you see in front of you is actual screen. The only downside maybe is that the 3D is not passive, which make the 3D goggles more expensive, but the quality of the 3D is the same as if you go to the theater.

This television by Samsung not only has quad pixel display but hdr Dolby vision. The upscaling on this unit is amazing as well and even lower resolution shows come in clear and crisp. I'd recommend this model to anyone.

Haven't tried 3D, but tv itself is terrific. Sound leaves a little to be desired. Wound up getting a soundbar after the fact. If I had to say something "negative" it would be that the tv isn't flash compatible.

The picture on this TV is superb. The pointer is easy to use and gives access to all of the tv's features. The sound is adequate, even without a sound bar. I am thoroughly enjoying it.

This was a great purchase; perfect size for my bedroom, great picture, sleek looking television, great price, and I really love all the added features it offers.

THIS IS AN AWESOME TV!! IT WAS LISTED REGULARLY FOR $2000, WE GOT IT FOR A FRACTUON ON CLEARANCE. IT HAS AN AWESOMELY THIN SILVER BEZEL AND THE INTERFACE IS GREAT ALSO. THE REMOTE LIGHTS UP NICELY AND IT ALSO HAS LOTS OF APPS. GREAT TV AND PICTURE!!!

Great design, very lightweight design. Quality is great and it is easy to install before watching TV.

Suffer from motion blur with led tv but this tv is very good at controlling this.

I bought this model because it was reported as being a "great" alternative to OLEDs. This TV is mediocre at best. The picture quality is great but the audio is horrible. I would recommend that you either save up and wait for an OLED or just spent less than half of what this TV costs on another TV because HDTVs are cheap right now. You are not getting a significantly "better" TV with this one

This is a great tv. My grandkids and kids use them more since they are in your rooms but they like them

bought this specifically for my PS4. gaming is excellent, refresh rate is great. smart TV hub is excellent.

Screen was barely touched, cracked. Have been waiting for geek squad to change panel for almost 6months. In meantime bought a sony still waiting for that tv to be colabrated

I purchased this TV from the Best Buy in Bowie. I had a problem with the original TV that was installed and Best Buy replaced it within a few days. I have had no issues with the replacement TV. It has a GREAT picture and has 3d like the TV it replaced. I would recommend this TV for anyone looking for a TV with GREAT picture and TRUE colors!

THAT'S RIGHT I SAID FULL 4:4:4 SUHD 4K TV MONITOR... Even though this will make an amazing TV, the Samsung JS series is advanced enough to be a TRUE monitor replacement. When I say TRUE I don't mean the use of any TV to display a computer signal (which looks really bad close up), I mean a TV with the same native resolution pixel for pixel in FULL 4:4:4 CHROMA SUBSAMPLING. There are only a few TV's on the market that come close to this quality level but this new Samsung 48" SUHD TV is the REAL DEAL (VERIFIED). THE ENDLESS SEARCH IS OVER... I've been searching online for the PAST 2 YEARS for a replacement of my current 4 monitor setup. The primary issue with using a TV as a larger monitor has been the lack of true full chroma support (4:4:4) at the TV's native resolution while running at 60hz. Why does this matter? We'll without this level of resolution your smaller text will be UNREADABLE and the quality would be inferior to any cheap monitor on the market today. ALMOST BOUGHT ANOTHER BRAND... After reading many blogs & researching many TV specs the past 24 months I almost purchased one of three TV brands which could possibly achieve 4:4:4 at 60hz (including another Samsung model). I decided to hold off however as these TV's started to receive bad reviews for quality & poor LAG performance while playing video games. The second reason I held off is because Samsung had announce at CES 2015 the release of their new nano crystal (CLED) JS series TV which they CONFIRMED could display 4:4:4 at 60hz using HDMI 2.0 along with a powerful enough graphics card. THEY ARE CORRECT, this TV can and does! MY SYSTEM SPECS - Samsung UN48JS8500FXZA 48" TV / Monitor - GTX 970 Graphics Card - X97 Motherboard - 32GB Ram - i5 quad core processor HOW TO TURN ON 4:4:4... Out of the box the TV will NOT do 4:4:4 full chroma and there were NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to complete this task. But with a little research on the web I was able to turn it on by doing the following: 1) Connect a QUALITY HDMI cable from your graphics card to the TV's HDMI 2.0 dock HDMI 1. You can also use a DVI to HDMI converter from your PC however I was able to simply use an HDMI cable. 2) In your TV MENU go to PICTURE>PICTURE OPTIONS> HDMI UHD COLOR and turn ON the HDMI 1 port. 3) In your TV press SOURCE on the remote and HIGHLIGHT HDMI 1, then press the DOWN ARROW to display a menu. Click on EDIT DEVICE TYPE and choose PC. I also updated the name of HDMI 1 to "PC" in the same menu. 4) TEST! The easiest way I found to test for Full Chroma 4:4:4 is to download the magenta (pink) test screen from the web (I've used the other tests as well). Simply type "4:4:4 pink test screen" in any internet search tool and you'll find many sites which will let you download it for free. Once you have the test image downloaded and open it in a photo viewer, MAKE SURE THE IMAGE IS NOT SCALED by expanding the photo viewer's window so if fits the image 100%. HOW TO READ THE RESULTS? There are 2 lines of numbers on this image, one is 4:2:2 and the other is 4:4:4, which ever one is MORE VISIBLE would be the resulting chroma subsampling level. Even though you might faintly see the other numbers they are not active. THE PROS...Obviously the first would be the ability to display a 4:4:4 chroma subsampling picture from a PC (for me at least). Other features which impressed me would be the ENORMOUS work space! You could fit SIX 19" monitors in this one screen and with the use of Maxto I can divide the screen into any sizes I wish then simply double click the title bar of any application / window to "mount" it to the grid, THAT SIMPLE! Samsung also impressed me by placing all the HDMI connections on a separate dock which is VERY NICE as it eliminates many long cables connected into the back of your TV and replaces it with ONLY ONE CABLE. The other feature which anyone prosumer can appreciate is the LOW BURN IN (if any) potential. Since this TV uses "Crystals" (CLED) instead of "organic" (OLED) medium in the panel, the chance of burn-in is significantly less from the research I've gathered. Another awesome feature is the ability to connect a wireless device like a keyboard and mouse. THE CONS... There are a few "annoyances" which can be adjusted if need be. The "auto-dimming" feature that was driving me nuts! I understand the reason behind this as the white is SO INTENSE in a dark room it will give you a headache from a screen this size HOWEVER you can turn this off in the service menu. I instead opted to adjust the level of ambient light around the TV to achieve the desired dimmer setting, works fine! The other option which is more of an annoyance is the remote cursor feature, this allows you to guide a cursor by waving the remote around. It's not very accurate however and I don't mind pressing the up & down arrows on the remote. MY FINAL THOUGHTS... My overall impression was jaw dropping and I rarely promote a product. As a software developer & desktop publisher I demand the perfect image from my monitors, this TV definitely meets my expectations & standards. I would highly recommend any gamer, developer, designer, eyefinity enthusiast or power user who employs multiple monitors to seriously consider this TV. As long as you have the system to power a 4:4:4 image this TV will be the MOST IMPRESSIVE upgrade you've experienced in DECADES.
