I love the washer, however, now I learn that Samsung washers are known for their vibration. My washer vibrates horribly in the spinning modes, and also vibrates in the washing modes.

After my top loader was recalled by Samsung we decided to go with front loader. Not impressed with Samsung we've had this washer for several month's now and it is noisy and it sounds like it is going to take off to the moon. Im really disappointed by this washer 1k not worthy. This washer has made me want to really consider other brands.

So in order to connect this to the app you have to pay for a wireless adapter that has horrible reviews. It's also hard to find.

Have smart home, very tech savvy and still can’t connect to network. Read other reviews before thinking you got all the answers. Caution.

This was an open box special. A few dents and scratches. It was a very good price though. After coupons and price reduction I thought I got a good machine for about 750 in total for a 1200 dollar machine. Delivery was on time. However, there was a very large dent on the side that I didn't see because it was right up against another box special that blocked my view. Still, not a big problem, since it was going to be put into a corner anyway. After everything was set up we gave it a test run. Water started pouring out of the bottom. We tipped the machine over and discovered that somewhere in the center it was leaking, needed severe repair. But here's the nasty part. The delivery man opened the water filter on the bottom and pulled out a clump of hair!!! USED MACHINE!!! I complained, obviously, and the manager, melony, seemed just as horrified as I was. She apologized and told me that Best Buy was going to do the proper thing and replace it with a new machine fresh out of the box. I thanked her and she told me she would call me the next day with a delivery date. The following morning Melony called me to inform me that Samsung won't honor a machine replacement because it's NOT their policy. If I wanted I could either get a refund or a replacement for about the same money I used on their used box special!. After a while I was able to get another machine for a small discount. Be Wary of Best buy open box specials and Samsung products!!!

The washer itself is actually pretty good and it may seem unfair to rate it as low as I did for the fact that the smart feature has been pretty much useless to me, but please keep in mind, that feature alone is what drove me to purchase this unit. There was quite a premium for that feature as well, and I'm extremely disappointed in it. Let me elaborate on the issues. First, its not very clear that you have to purchase a wifi adapter for this device to get online. An additional $25 later and this unit will still not connect to Samsung's terrible excuse of a smart app, Smart Home. The dryer sitting right next to it can at least see the network, the washer...nothing. Bottom line is, if you want to see how smart this device will be, simply look at the reviews of Samsung's app Smart Home. Until that improves, spending the extra money on this smart feature is money down the drain.

The Samsung washer is great (5 stars), but the installers hooked the cold outlet to the hot and the hot outlet to the cold. Discovered this when my wife removed her newly washed sweaters and they all shrunk. I also had to re-level the washers after they said it was perfect. I complained to Best Buy in an email, never heard a reply. Next time I'll go to HHGregg or Home Depot for the dryer.

This washer is constantly broken- at least 4-5 repair calls in the less than two years we’ve owned it. I will never purchase a Samsung appliance again. I should have learned my lesson after I sent the Samsung refrigerator off for junk that we owned for 4 years.

It looks nice and seems to clean well, but found it had a broken valve that was spraying water inside unit and leaking on my floor just weeks after purchase. I bought this to replace recalled Samsung that I had just purchased 4yrs earlier. Fortunately, I purchased the warranty, but I'm a mother with no washer for 2 weeks waiting for Geeksquad repair.

Recalled...... but it worked well when I used it. Samsung normally have good products but this just had it issues.

I have to agree with others that say this washer breaks down after a few years. We bought this on April 19, 2019. Today in mid February 2021, we are waiting on a repair person's visit since the washer simply will not function. It cannot begin and end a cycle.

Purchased as part of a set this Summer. The washer is definitely better quality than the dryer without a doubt but it is very loud when it spins. I would have expected a much quieter machine as was promised in their advertising etc. We were planning on buy two sets for the house but after our experience with both these high end Samsung Washer and Dryers we are looking for much better quality. Very disappointed.

We purchased the 1st Samsung washer in 2014. It was recalled. So, we replaced it with this Samsung washer in Jan 2017. We purchased 3 year Geek Squad service. We called Geeks Squad several times during 3 years. Then, the washer stopping washing during the cycle in March 2020. We had to press start/pause button to continue through the cycle. Geek squad service was expired. We called the washer technician. They said it was related to technical design. Samsung can only fix it. We called Samsung many times to report it for technical issue. No one helped us to solve the problem. Don't waste your money to buy Samsung washer. Their washer only works 3 years due to poor technical design. Bad brand name.

very nice washer but the add wash feature did not work when laundry is done the music it plays for a long time

SAMSUNG IS NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE I RECEIVED MY MACHINE AND IT'S DIFFERENTLY NOT WORTH IT THEY GIVE YOU A BIGGER TUB BUT IF YOU FILL IT MORE THAN A QUARTER FULL IT BANGS AROUND WHATS THE POINT OF A BIGGER TUB IF YOU CAN'T USE IT . IT SOUNDS LIKE A OLD VW BUG IT'S THAT BAD OTHER THAN THAT IF YOU WANT A PRETTY MACHINE AND WHAT TO SPLIT A LAUNDRY BASKET IN TO 5 LOADS IT'S YOUR MACINE

Looks great from the outside. I think the insides are cheap. We had Samsung’s for 10 years and went for t same brand again. The dryer came in busted and won’t dry and the washer vibrates the whole house every 3-4 loads. For those doubters, it was level all he way around. Trading hem in and going to try whirlpools.

Bought the washer and dryer pair for new house, delivered and power turned on and the machine wouldn't spin wouldn't work. Took geek squad TWO WEEKS to come out to evaluate, then had to order parts and now another week to get that installed. Brand new out of box washer, has been a month and still doesn't work. AVOID

I do not understand with the center hole usage, expensive with no useful function.

Recall on my last washer. Bought new front load Samsung a month ago and has already stopped working. We talked to best buy( no help). Went to the store even though we argued that washer was new and should be replaced they refused. Called and had technition come look at it, he agreed that they should replace it but said he could not do anything. He ordered parts(mother board) and will be back to install them. Not very happy. I have bought tvs, cameras, car stereos and washers from Best Buy but no more. My tvs and washers have been samsung but afte this will probably go back to Maytag or something else.

I'd give it no stars if that were an option. I have had this washing machine less than 2 years and it stopped working mid-cycle with a load of clothes "locked" inside. It wouldn't power back on so it wouldn't unlock. Had to manually drain it, wait 2 days for a technician to come out and it's a $550 repair because the whole computer "mother board" went bad. Then was told the parts are on backorder and wouldn't arrive for another 3 weeks. Of course we did not buy the extended warranty and the standard warranty is 1 year. This machine works well when it works, but it you buy ANY Samsung appliance, buy an extended warranty because they are junk. My dishwasher stopped working also after 1 year.
