Horrible installation service They did not take off their shoes when coming into my house even though I told them to. They did not adjust balance. The washers make loud thumping noises in the middle of the night.

Bought the washer and dryer set in April of last year. Broke just after the warranty was up (of course). One of three motherboards fried. That's craftsmanship for you!

This washer was a replacement for the exact same machine which I bought two years ago. The old unit died ... after only two years of use ... this one had better last longer.

This is the worst washing machine I have ever seen. The thing sits perfectly level and vibrates across the room and not only that it gouged a hole in the wall.

This thing has had a gasket fail pouring water on my floor twice in less than a year since purchase! F-

My washer came off the truck and they unwrapped it and the washer had a huge dent on the side.

Samsung outdid themselves with high efficiency front loading washer machine with steam. Clothes come out clean and sanitized.

Samsung focuses their marketing efforts for this washer on the Addwash door. If you look up the manual on their web site, you'll find that door can only be opened when the washer is paused. That means if you want to add a forgotten item, you could just open the main door like on every other washer. The only thing the AddWash door gives you is slightly fewer drops of water on the floor when you open it. It is big enough to stuff a T shirt through but good luck with a larger item. Removed one start for this useless, but heavily marketed feature. A thick king-sized comforter fills the entire bin, but the Bedding mode did a good job of washing it. Large loads also work well.

We purchased this new washer to replace our 7 year old Samsung. We loved our old machine and wanted to stick with Samsung. First off this washer does a very good job washing clothes so that is a big positive. However, I really worry about the longevity of this new washer as the build quality is just not up to par with the older Samsung it replaces. Also our large purchase was really ruined by the very poor customer service from BestBuy. As long time customers we were really disappointed in the lack of any follow ups to our concerns and attempts to contact them due to problems with delivery and set up. There online customer service email is a joke! Three attempts to contact them and never a response! So our overall rating is 4 stars for the washer and just 1 star for BestBuy! We will shop elsewhere in the future.

Has mold issues around the rubber cover, makes clothing smell moldy and retains moisture. Filter needs to be cleaned after every wash. Drive motor completely failed after the 5 year Best Buy warranty elapsed. Steam function didn’t really steam it soaked. This washer never lived up to its name and I’ve just spent $600 repairing this unit out of pocket. Samsung never honored their 10yr drive warranty and Geeksquad provided misleading information. Will buy from local vendors and no longer trust Samsung as a quality brand. I gave 2 stars purely for its aesthetics.

I bought this set based on the glowing reviews from customers and CR alike. My own experience has been less than stellar. I;ve had issues with both the washer and the dryer. First the washer - a sulphur smell permeated our clothes and some could not be salvaged. I'll agree that this could have numerous causes (mainly, our water), however in using the self-clean cycle to make sure all traces of the smell were removed, we discovered that the door leaked. Multiple service trips were required and eventually the entire door was replaced. It no longer leaks. Second, the dryer - on one of the repairman's trips, I mentioned to him that the dryer would intermittently make a screeching noise. He said he knew exactly what it was, was a known problem (!!). Had to order a new rotor for the belt and then completely take apart our dryer to reinstall once it came in. It's now noisier than before, though no longer makes the screeching. And the dryer doesn't dry my clothes any more efficiently than my old first generation front loading Whirlpool Duet. Big disappointment. Not sure if I got a lemon (or two!), but this set has not lived up to my expectations. Thankfully, I got it on sale at a decent price. I'll probably get rid of this set sooner than I would normally do so just because of the issues.

We chose to get this Washer and the 6500 Dryer, which is about $300 cheaper than matching 7500 Dryer (they both look exactly the same) and only a few differences. The washer has the Powerfoam feature which is amazing. Cleans way better than our old top loader. Clothes are just barely damp when they come out meaning your Dryer has to do less work too. The Add Wash door isn't really that cool, because you still have to pause your washer like any other side load and can still open the full door like every other side load, so nothing innovative here. Just a great Washer with a huge tub. We have family of 5 and it has cut laundry down quite a bit with as much we can do at once now.

I waited several months before reviewing this product. Having had whirlpool and lg washers in the past I went on a whim to try new brand. I do not recommend paying the extra for the ad a wash door. In all my washers before you simply just press pause and open the door and ad. The door is just another are for dirt and hair to collect and another area to clean. The door space is small. I just end up opening the main door. The touch pad is not very sensitive and takes several taps for the Temperature to move. The cleaning power does not come anywhere near what my whirlpool top loader or lg front washer did. I haven't changed any detergent just washers. I have kids in sports and baby clothes and all seem to have set in stains. The deep steam cycle is nothing to brag about.

We have had this set in this finish for about 5 months. We replaced an old top loader and I had no idea how much cleaner our laundry could be until we got these! I love all of the cycle options and am really happy with the overall function. I took a star away because the finish is extremely delicate. I had set an empty plastic laundry basket on top absentmindedly and it scratched the heck out of the top. There are several scratches on the machines that I can't even tell you how they got there because we haven't done anything you would expect to cause them. I'm frustrated with how easily they scratch because I expected better durability for the price. If I didn't love everything else about them, I would return because it is honestly that much of an issue. I worry to think what they will look like in a couple years. Maybe the other finishes are more durable?

Absolutely loved this washer until I didn't. It lasted just over 4 years before all of the issues started. It gets frozen on the cycle time calculation screen, drum doesn't move to turn laundry. I bought a part to fix it and it seemed okay for a few months and it does not work again.
