This washer is horrible. Keeps repeating rinse/spin. It doesn't matter what I'm washing or the cycle. I have to turn it off and sit there and draing all the water.

**DISCLAIMER**I purchased my washer at a discount in return for my honest feedback. Well, I have received my Samsung WF50A8600AE series washer and what can I say, it is a beauty. I chose the Ivory color as I previously had a white colored front loader with a white pedestal. I kept the pedestal and honestly, the colors don’t clash. Anyhow, there is not one thing I dislike about the design of the washer. Kudos to Samsung’s design team as they have, in my opinion, introduced a real gem of a look. The grey control top and the black door go hand in hand with the ivory body. It comes with many different wash options and a Cleanguard tech that keeps the drum from smelling funky. I really like the brains it has. The programming has an Artificial Intelligence that remembers your most used cycles and leaves it set for the next time you use your washer. That comes in handy for those that like to use just one setting all the time regardless of the laundry content. Now, the best feature, again, my opinion, is the WI-FI option. Install the Samsung SmartThings App on your phone (Android or iOS available) and then pair the washer to your home network. Follow the steps in your owner’s manual to guide you along, the steps were not that hard. Once it was paired and set up in the app away, I went. WOW! The options, the options, the options. I am a techy, so the fancy animation of the washer washing, rinsing and spinning was all a joy to see. The ability to see the time left and getting the notification on my phone was long overdue for me. No more setting a timer. If you have other Samsung devices that can receive notifications from SmartThings, then you will get them there too! No matter where I am in my home, I get a notification that my washer (in the garage) is done! The washer lets you know that it needs to self-clean after about 40 cycles, which is very good to help keep it smelling clean. The LED screen is lit just right, it is not overbearing at all, the right brightness. The font is perfect. The sensitivity of the buttons is good, as always, time will tell if this is something that will give out over the long run. The dial is good, not hard to turn, not loose in my opinion. The Detergent drawer seemed a little hard to open to me, however again, that is more a user opinion more than anything. On the other hand, removing it to disassemble and clean was easy, go figure. The drum size was excellent. I was able to put in a whole basket of laundry. Back to the different wash options, I tried the speed cycle and it something else. It’s something I imagine I’ll use when I’m short on time. I do use the different cycles, but I use a custom cycle most of the time. All in all this is the best washer I have owned, I am more than pleased.

It’s not the one I ordered. It do not have the auto dispense compartment.

Don't waste your money. I bought this washer a little over one year ago, and the weights fell off the drum. The warranty was only good for one year. Now I'm without a washing machine.

Laundry just got a whole lot easier with this new washer from Samsung. Initially I thought the WiFi option was a silly thing to have on a washer, but I was definitely wrong. If your laundry set up is in the basement of your house like mine, you know the struggle of knowing when the load you are currently washing or drying are done. Struggling to remember if you heard the buzzer go off is a thing of the past with the SmartThings app. The SmartThings app on my phone is now a life saver and saves me time since alerts are sent straight to my phone. Another great feature of the Samsung washer is there is no trying to remember when the last time I cleaned the washer itself. Each load of laundry washed is tracked in the SmartThings app and you are alerted as to when it is time to clean the washer. The self clean wash cycle makes it that much easier, with no need to buy any sort of tablets or cleaners. The SmartThings app also tracks the amount of energy the appliance is using as well providing you with a nice graph the more often the appliance is used. All in all, I am beyond happy with this washer.

I upgraded my washer after 10 years with a previous front-loader. At the time, I thought that one was state of the art. This is definitely state of the art. I am a huge fan of the Smart Things integration as well as the multiple features it includes including steam washing, workout apparel settings, and even synching with the Dryer to automatically select the correct setting based on what you chose for the washer. The spacious washer has cleaned many large loads with ease, including blankets, pool towels, etc. The washer does an awesome job spinning out as much water as possible so the dryer can do its job. I love the speed was setting as well. A small load for my kids can go in and out of both the washer and dryer in under an hour, and I have used it a lot. I know a lot of washers coming out have a larger tray to put lots of detergent - I would have liked that feature here, but it's not a huge deal to do it for each load. The color and size both are appealing and fit nicely in my laundry room. The larger lint trap is also a great feature so I don't have to do that regularly and the machine tells me when it needs to be cleaned. Definitely a big upgrade.

I love this set but it doesn’t put out much water. Is anyone else having a low water level issue with this product?

The drain pump has gone out 3 times in the 3 years we have owned this washer. I’m done dumping money into it - bought an LG with extended warranty to replace it. The appliance repairman we use said it’s a common issue with these washers, and he replaces the drain pumps all the time.

broke after a few years, I could buy a new washer with the money I spent trying to fix it. A screw in the drum came out and broke the balance of the drum or something dumb.
