I opted for this Samsung model because I felt the price was fair and I wanted something with WiFi connectivity. We’ve been using it daily for about two-weeks now and have been very happy with the results! The steam function leavea a ‘fresh’ smell on our clothes and the notifications from the app provide nice reminders to switch the clothes over to our dryer. Hopefully we can get another 10 years out of this model — but so far, so good!

Replacement parts are expensive, the Samsung service manual is available for DIYers, but the procedure for troubleshooting a total control board failure is not well covered. The controls should outlast the rest of the washing machine as it is the case with other major brands. A friend told me, "That is what you get when you purchase a washing machine from a TV manufacturer", LOL, he is certainly right on this one. Not good quality for its price tag. A two year failure would be expected from a low cost low expected quality device. Different experience than Samsung TVs which I have used for over ten years without any problem.
