It replaces less than a 5 yr. old top of the line Maytag that has broke down twice in the last 18 mo. Time will tell on reliability for this Samsung. Very happy with other products from Samsung.

This auto sensing is not for me on this machine in particular. You can see inside the washer easily and actually some items even came out partially dry that were not touching the water. It never filled up high enough. I tried to love it but had to return it.
