Apparently normal for them to get unbalanced?

It worked great till every load gets unbalanced and it sounds like its gonna rip its self apart. Called Geek squad because i bought a warranty and they are gonna replace the "tub rods." The mans explanation is that its a "Samsung" and they all do this and there is nothing to be done about it if the rods don't fix it. What kind of BS is that. If these rods don't fix it this thing is going on Craigslist.

Nice Washer

You can always get more water with the DEEPFILL setting. I like the fact that it doesn't have an agitator post. The bottom moves different from the sides. It seems to agitate the clothes a lot. This washer is is well built and easy to use.

HORRIBLE MACHINE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

It is less than 3 months old and we've had to call to have it serviced 5 times. It does not drain properly. If you put more than 1/4 of a load in here it unbalances. So I hope you enjoy doing what should be one load of laundry in 5 or 6 loads instead. THE WORST MACHINE EVER. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! Did I mentioned it takes HOURS to make an appointment through Samsung. The only good thing about thing about this machine is that I look forward to the day that I can take a sledge hammer it.

Fairly good washer

So far it’s a pretty decent washer, large capacity, very quite. The only problem I’ve found is that when it has finished the spin cycle it leaves the clothes very wet. A normal load takes more than an hour and a half to get fully dry. My front loader took no more than 60 min to dry. I have tried to use the highest speed for the spin cycle, but to no avail. This washer is high efficiency, which means it uses less water, but the money you save on water is more than doubled in electricity cost.

Awful

As soon as they delivered it we did a test run and you can hear squeaking as well as metal on metal colliding all the time. I have Geek Squad protection, but when I tried to use it they told me to call Samsung that they wouldn't deal with it while in the first year because it still has a manufacturer warranty. Samsung said it would be 6 months just to send someone to look at it.

Go to Lowe’s or Home Depot

First 3rd party company came and broke one my values and had to call a plumber to come out and repair then delivery service would not accommodate and come back and install and haul away old washer so I just have a washer setting in my garage please go to another store to purchase your major appliances.

Can't wash on anything but cold water-- AVOID!!

I have finally discovered that even on the highest water temperature setting, it adds only a minimal amount of hot water and fills almost completely with cold water. On anything less than the highest temperature setting, it fills exclusively with cold water. I wish we had never bought this washer

Not happy with purchase of WA50R5200AW/US

Initially, we found that the cleaning was not to the level expected. Residue was found on clothes. We have to manually scrub items before washing if there are simple spots that would be cleaned on our old machine with an agitator. The washer also retains bleach and releases on clothes in the next load. We have had to move to a routine where we wash white clothes after using bleach on towels or otherwise. This has reduced but not eliminated incidents. My son and daughter have lost a few outfits and weren't too happy about it. Now the washer will not spin correctly. It is always unbalanced as if a suspension rod or spring are broken or damaged. We don't abuse or overuse our appliances. We are only a family of 4. This unbalance detection causes the washer to continuously fill with water and spin. This routine will go on for hours if left unattended!!! Fill with water, agitate to try to balance level, spin, detect unbalance, then fill with water again. My water bill has gone up because of this. I have run cleaning procedures per the manual and otherwise. The algorithm for balancing is horrible and needs to be fixed. There is no reason to repeat more than 1 time! Try once and then notify operator to manually balance!!! One other thing... There is a 'spin only' cycle. This cycle will add water if the washer thinks a load is unbalanced. I don't think the definition of 'only' is enforced here.... It is frustrating to walk in and yet again the washer is adding water when set to spin only. I'm trying to be fair with a 2 star review, but I would give it 1.5... Between poor and fair. My guess is this washer has cost me significantly more with damaged outfits and extra water than other models and manufacturers. I'd spend money to try and fix this, but with the other problems, our money is probably better spent moving to another manufacturer...
