Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this washer 4yrs ago, during COVID, when there was limited product availability, at least instant availability. We were moving into our house and the existing washer died the week before closing. Samsung was appealing at first. Have had good luck with their TV's and also ended up with a refrigerator from them. Some background: - We use only liquid detergent; no pods. - We run the cleaning cycle as directed by the machine (which is every 20 loads). - We have never done a full capacity load. If anything, we tend to do more small and medium loads, and do them more frequently. I won't even wash a king comforter in this; it may fit, but I feel better about doing that at a laundromat. Little did we know what 4yrs would bring... We've had issues, going all the way back to probably within 1yr of getting the machine, with lint being stuck to darks. Our only solutions to this had been an extra rinse cycle (which uses more water) or cleaning it all off manually after the clothes are dry. We did discover that washing on the coldest setting was not helping (although it saved us energy by not using any hot water). Bumping from setting 1 to 2 (there are 5 temp settings) helped and now we're mostly able to get the lint off without an extra rinse. I'm not entirely impressed on this machine's cleaning ability as far as very dirty clothes go. My hobby is working on cars, so my clothes end up being quite dirty after a day of wrenching. Without the use of additional cleaning products (Shout), I don't think my jeans would still be blue. My wife actually washed a couple of my t-shirts with another load and did not spray them before hand, and they came out still dirty. Our newest, and biggest, issue is that a mere 4yrs after buying this, the tension rods are already worn out. The machine has not been able to finish a spin cycle on it's own. When it fails to spin, it tries to fill with water again to redistribute the clothing. More times that not, it'll attempt this a few times, then completely stop, with soaking wet clothes still in the tub. I've had to babysit the machine in order to stop it before it fills again and then manually redistribute the clothes or take some out entirely, in which case I then run the spin-only cycle again separately. To summarize, I'm not overly impressed with the cleaning ability of this machine and I am not happy at all that after only 4yrs it is requiring replacement parts to keep it alive. As a more value machine, I guess it did its job, but I was expecting better from a big company like Samsung. I do not plan on buying another Samsung washer.

We have had it going on 3 months (plenty of time to learn settings). It does not get anything clean AND it takes forever to wash. We have tried multiple variations of the settings and nothing has worked. This is way too expensive to not work properly from the start.

All 4 suspension rods needed to be replaced after only 15 months of purchase. Of course we only had the standard 12 month Samsung warranty and they would not cover the parts nor labor.

Very Pleased with Purchase

It is extremely quiet and clothing comes out looking very clean. Some past comments recorded say that the inside rust quickly but I leave the top open after washing is done and wipe out the soap dish to keep the unit dry. If it is located in a basement that is damp then may be more problems than I have with laundry room on first floor and good ventilation. So far very pleased with this washing machine.

I work hard for my money and this a huge purchase for me so I wanted to make sure I got my money’s worth. I do love the large capacity and how many clothes I can fit in this washer. It has cut my normal 7 loads into 3 loads. However, when I have a normal sized load of whites to wash, it still takes TWO HOURS. when you select fabric softener, that adds on another 30 minutes. No matter what setting I select on the dryer, my clothes do not get dry. It will automatically kick off when it senses they’re dry, but they’re not. So I have to go set it on a timed dry to finish drying them. I only wash clothes on the weekends. I have an app to check my energy usage so I can get an idea of why my power bill will be. The days I use this washer and dryer my energy usage more than TRIPLES. Also, the biggest part of the reason I bought this dryer was for the sanitize option- it’s useless. Clothes come out damp, they never dry. And it’s the same the thing with the wrinkle option. for the amount of money I paid for this, I am very unhappy. A regular set with three settings would’ve been more useful and a thousand dollars cheaper. I would not recommend this and I definitely would not purchase this again.

It has had a problem with getting off balance and usually cannot finish a load with having an error code and turning itself off or rerunning the load all over again. My husband ordered parts online and repaired it once but the new part did not last long. I am very disappointed with my purchase.

I ran across a video on YouTube, and it said to hold down "delay end" and "temp" simultaneously. After that, press start. It will rebalance itself. It worked for me, I hope this helps someone
