Decent washer….for a few years

Then, almost every load became unbalanced during the spin cycle, regardless of size or wash cycle/spin type. Washer would then dump water on the load to help rebalance it, it would often get stuck in this loop for hours. I replaced the suspension rods and it helped for a while but the issue returned. Capacity is misleading, it has a large tub but does not do well with larger loads. Spend the extra money & go buy a speed queen

But after 3.5 years, just after the warranty expired, it started to have issues. It is jumping shaking vigorously so I cannot even wash a load, or it takes all day to get it to balance. It has been so very frustrating! Was quoted 250 to 300 to get some parts replaced and "see" if that fixes the issues. What a waste. I am going to look into a more reliable brand.

It has no ability to stay balanced during a spin cycle unless you babysit it and rearrange the load three or four times. Doubles the amount time it SHOULD take to do a load. I won’t be purchasing another Samsung top loading washing machine ever.

Best Washer We’ve Owned!

We made the mistake of buying the previous owners and after a lot of work on my wife’s part we still didn’t feel comfortable using it. This Samsung washer has great features and haven’t run into any issues in the time we’ve had it.

Must be loaded perfectly or it will not balance, even though it has a balancing system built in. 2. Uses a lot of water. 3. Tangles the clothing together so tightly it is hard to remove them for drying. 4. Many times I have had to run an extra rinse cycle because it left soap from the regular cycles and I usually add a rinse cycle. So this means you need 3 rinses, again using lots of water. So, overall I would not recommend this machine or buy one again.

Your washing machine may shake, move, and make noise while spinning. This can happen when the four washing machine legs need to be made more secure with the ground or if a large bulky item or a massive amount of laundry is in the machine. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this back in 2019 and it worked well now in 2023 the balance rods went out purchased the replacement parts for $100 but not easy fix definitely 2 man job to repair. Purchased another unit will fix this one and sell it to recover some of my money. Still have the dryer we will see how long that hold up. Only complaint during time owned was it takes upto 2 hours to wash going through few loads can take some time.

Machine suspension brakes after 1.5 years of use.

The suspension rode gave out and the machine stopped working properly. It cost $100 to buy one rode from Samsung and the machine needs 4. Thats $400 of material cost, not counting any labor cost. Did some research and this is a very common problem. So Samsung not only put out a bad product but yet charges buyers hefty amount for replacement. This is just bad business practice that focuses on profit and not customer or product. Please just focus on making phones.
