Good washer. Would give it a 4.5 instead of 4.0. My only wish is to not hear the tune when the washer is turned on. Other than that, no complains

We have been fighting balance issues with this washer for years. It is now to the point where it amost unusable. I've read this is common with Samsung washers. This is my first and last Samsung appliance.

Purchased this model washing machine and matching dryer. Purchased early 2021 and the dryer heating element went out in 2023 had to replace and pay out of pocket because the manufacturer warranty is only one year and now the washing machine I’m having issues. The washer goes through all the different cycles and when it gets to the spin cycle I get a UR/UB code. I replaced the springs, calibrated unplugged the machine and still having the same issue. Called Samsung customer service and they were troubleshooting over the phone Still no help they recommended a Samsung tech to come out for $160 does not include parts. This machine was a waste of money and it’s expensive. Paying close to $2,000 I was hoping to get 8 to 10 years out of it and nope… Don’t waste your money, poorly made. My household is a family of 4

Washer seems fine; HOWEVER, it would be much better if a manual on how to use this model was included!

I get error codes often on the spin cycle which happened after a short time of owning.

My Samsung washer is 18 months old. It cleans clothes very well and I was very satisfied the first six months. Then rust started appearing around the bleach dispenser. At first, a little CLR and appliance touch-up paint seemed to fix the problem but it has steadily gotten worse with increasing rust stains which are now permanent. The washer does a good job of washing clothes, but the rust stains continue growing and taking over the bleach dispenser. An on-line search will reveal that this is a common problem with this Samsung washer. The manufacturer does not have a fix. I agree that that rust is a cosmetic issue so far, but not what I expect from a new product. If you Google "Samsung washer bleach dispenser rust" before buying this product you will see exactly what the problem is. My plan is to replace this machine in a year or so.

Solid large capacity washer. Great see-thru, soft-close lid. Waterjet is useful in pre-rinsing & pre-treating items. Loading liquid detergent could be easier as the loading drawer does not come out very far and the lid gets in the way. Button sounds can be annoying and do NOT turn off even if you have the sound off (Sound off only means end of cycle melody doesn't play).

Didn't last 4 years - bought it 9/2019 and it's getting replaced this month (2/2023) Two weeks ago, the since spin cycle seemed fail at self-balancing. Couldn't even get into the rinse cycle. Service would've exceeded more than half the cost of a new one.

Absolute garbage! Please don't look at reviews from people who've had this product for a few weeks or months. We purchased this model just over 4 years ago in September of 2019 and since July of 2023 have had so many "Ur" error code issues it's ridiculous! The Ur error happens because this washer has a center drum that moves all over the place. The drum will shake violently to the point that even with all doors closed in our home and while you're in a different room it will sound like something is beating the inside of the washer. This happens because unlike old school washers that have a center post (that directs the clothes up and down during the wash cycle) and the drum stays in place, your clothes/towels end up going to the sides of the drum, leaving the center essential empty (think a donut hole), unbalancing the drum. From there the Ur code requires that additional rinsing happen. The problem with this is that your clothing or towels are already soaked, so additional rinsing only makes them more wet; thus imbalancing the drum even more! This will turn your 60-90 minute wash into 4 to 6 hours! Not exaggerating. We end up ringing out each item one by one, removing them, leaving them to hang dry in our bathrooms and outside, only to wash them later after running a recalibration each time prior to a wash. Then it's fingers crossed, hoping that it works! Initially it was believed we were putting too much clothes/towels in so the soaked items were too heavy for the drum and that was causing the imbalance. Okay, no problem. We've greatly reduced the amount of clothes/towels we put in and it eventually does the same thing because now it's too light! This happens even on delicate cycles! Literally as I type this review I am having to remove towels out of the washer because it's done this again! I've been in contact with Samsung customer service on multiple phone calls, everything mentioned above has been discussed, they've explained how to recalibrate the washer (Temp + Delay End, hold for 3 seconds, Cb code pops up, push start & it will power off) and have done everything possible to deal with this situation. They've told us that it's at a point we have to get a tech and we're looking at $160 for labor and $80 for parts on average, but it could cost more than that $240 and it doesn't guarantee it can be fixed! Our old washer was an off brand, was over 12+ years old and never had issues. The only reason we don't have it is because we moved in 2019, my wife wanted all new appliances and we had some extra cash to burn at the time.

Purchased in 2020 and had to have springs replaced in 2023 and the top panel recently broke and I cant even find the part to get it replaced. When serviced I was told the springs often fail in these units.

Purchased in 2019 & still running great! Also purchased the warranty but have not had any reason to use it

I’m in love with my new washer!!! My clothes are absolutely clean and once they hit the final spin it doesn’t take long in the dryer! You won’t regret this purchase

I would give this product no stars. We purchased this washer exactly 2 years ago. I had to have repair person here today as machine would not go through spin cycle. It will be $900 to fix. So the washer is done, not worth the repair. The repair person said they have had many, many problems with this Samsung washer. I just ordered a new washer and also decided to replace the Samsung dryer because I do not trust the product. Ordered a Whirlpool washer and dryer. We unfortunately, just purchased Samsung kitchen appliances. I would NEVER recommend Samsung appliances to anyone I know. I wouldn’t even recommend it to my worst enemy. Horrible horrible product.
