The washer was "ok" for about 2 1/2 years until it would routinely go off balance and prolong rinse cycles for no reason. I was told by the repair guy it needed new shocks (600 repair). Why would this happen after 2 1/2 years? They do not make appliances to last anymore nor do they make them affordable to repair. It is insanity. The washer is still usable but it takes more water, more electricity and more time to wash a load of clothes. Every load has to be small and tiny now :(. Is this just Samsung or all washers?

This has all the options you need for different types of fabric / washing. I am glad I got the top load so I can soak the way I want to.

Would not recommend. This purchase is a very huge disappointment. Spin cycle is faulty and will not spin the wster out of the clothes. Worked fine for about 3 weeks.

Worst washer I've ever had. On normal settings it struggles to even get your clothes wet, and loads take up to 2-3 hours. We washed most loads on deep fill quick wash, which approximates a normal washer. Even then it struggles to keep the load balanced for spinning, often you have to rebalance it and restart. And guess what it does after you rebalance? It does another rinse, so that the clothes shift again. When it finally finishes a load it's so proud of itself that it plays, I kid you not, a 45-second symphony of a jingle. So happy to finally drag this piece of garbage to the curb.

2 years in and the spin cycle can’t get done without taking all the laundry out and drying outside before tossing onto my dryer. Thankfully got warranty, but that also took over a month and 2 attempts to fix, none worked. Avoid this if you value your sanity and time,

Excellent product if I needed 2 I would buy another

This washer is the worst! Everything makes it error with the ue code. Literally too many towels, 2-3 towels in one wash. Then once I re-set it it should continue the spin cycle for 10 minutes or less however it will run down to 6 minutes then fill with water and start again for over 20 minutes this repeats u less I remove towels…honestly we had a Samsung fridge and it was also nothing but trouble lasting only 14 months.

An absolute piece of garbage. I have owned this model for about three years and it will not complete a spin cycle without an unbalanced load alarm. The springs on the rods that support the drum wear out very fast. It’s cheaper to buy a new washer than to replace the rods with OEM parts. Do not buy this washer without doing some research.

Worked great for first two years. Then started not being able to handle sheets or blankets. Unit goes out of balance whenever tub has more than just clothing items (sheets, blankets, towels) NOT overfilled! One or two towels will often become out of balance. Technician reports the "shocks" need to be replaced. $50 'knock-offs' do not work. OEM repair at >$200 (just for parts!) is ridiculous! Don't buy if you expect to wash towels, light blankets, etc. If you, do and get extended warranty, be sure it covers "balancing/leveling" issues.

My experience was bad, after the first year of service we noticed that the clothes were dirty and we had to repeat the washing, after the 2nd year the spin cycle in heavy seemed like it was going to dismantle the house and finally after the 3rd year when it was already The warranty had expired, it stopped working.

I do not have the specific model but I currently own a different model washing machine that is less than two years old and in the past four years I have owned a Samsung refrigerator and dishwasher. They have all been junk. My current Samsung washing machine was only purchased because my previous washing machine broke and we needed one right away for a family of five. The one I have is the one with the soaking lid Toploader. I have been hit on the head numerous of times the lid. While I am writing this I have spent three hours washing one load of sheets and a blanket. This machine that is so expensive cannot handle any sort of bulk items even though it has The capacity for extremely large loads. It is constantly off-balance as a result I am having to watch the washing machine every five minutes to see if I have to restart the machine because it’s off-balance. Worst machine ever.

This washer is constantly unbalanced. Even when the legs are even, we calibrate it, we evenly space the clothes, the washer is always unbalanced. Then it will completely restart the whole cycle. This washer causes more stress than it’s worth.
