Reading the reviews, I saw that the two issues I have had were addressed in their new models, lint filter clogging and inability to choose how much water filled the basin, leading to issues with adequate cleaning for heavier items. I am very pleased with my new washer and happy I gave Samsung a second chance. Clothes come out clean and the washer has great features and options

Not for adventurous families

I feel this washer is not getting our clothes clean. If there is a dirt spot on an article of clothing, it will still be there after the cycle. I thought maybe I was putting too many items of clothing in, but even with small loads it doesn't seem to get the job done. I like that it is large capacity and you have the ability to wash comforters, however, I still don't feel like it is getting spots out. I wish I reached out immediately to try and exchange the washer for something else, but I kept trying different cycles and load amounts hoping it would help. I do like the delay start option, I will not buy another washer without it!

I had an issue when I first got it where the light ring around the controller dial was not working. In other words, I had no idea which mode the washer was running in. I called best buy and they were very responsive and got me a new one within 5 days. If you're getting this, I highly recommend paying the extra 70 bucks or so to get it delivered and installed. If I didn't, I would have had to deal with replacing the detective washer myself.
