My wife used it once and it had black streaks all down the glass. We could not clean it Samsung told us that is what happens that is why the glass is tinted. It was missing parts when it was delivered. I have been without a stove for over a month and best buy is still giving me the run around. One of the worst purchases I have made

    Love this slide in range

I really love our new Samsung slide in gas range. I use the convection setting about 1/2 the time and it is a great feature. Bake/roasts evenly in less time. The additional grill for the center area is a nice added feature and i've used it for pancakes (flat side) and grilling steaks on the textured side. The burner options have a good mix of full size and simmer. I've only used the warming drawer once and I didn't allow it to heat up enough beforehand so I'll have to give that another try before I decide on that feature. I have not found the front placement of the knobs to be an issue as far as being accidentally turned on by leaning on them as some other reviews mentioned. I wish that the stainless wasn't as susceptible to scratching on top as it is (I put a scratch in it the first week of use) but oh well, it is an appliance that will get heavy use in our home so it will not remain perfect anyway. I think this is an excellent buy and I highly recommend this range in the under $2,000.00 category.

    Amazing Stove

I purchased the Samsung NX58H9500WS a few weeks ago - i just can't believe what a great gas range this is - oven heats really fast, boils water quickly (& you can use a much lower heat for the stove top) & is easy to keep clean - so far just water has cleaned up any mess. knobs stay cool throughout cooking process. It has so many options i haven't tried them all just your normal bake & convection bake (dog biscuits cooked completely evenly & banana bread came out perfectly) - so much better than my old 5 burner range. i purchased this over the much more expensive GE Cafe as i wanted the dual burner, fish burner, warming drawer and built in look - when i compared the GE to this - i couldn't pass up this deal - the sale price at bestbuy is a steal!!!! i almost didn't buy because the the lip on either side of this range - my cabinets on either side are not even in height - so one side looks completely lined up& the other side has about a 1/2 inch gap but honestly you hardly notice it - only if you are looking for it - but that is my funky kitchen cabinets! Since i was replacing a freestanding range Samsung enclosed a strip for behind the range - in my set up the strip goes right up against the wall. Oh - it also is much better looking in person - in the stock photos it looks a little boxy but it isn't - very professional looking. (My friend has this stove & i didn't realize i had checked it out online as its a beautiful stove in person - this is the main reason i purchased it over the GE Cafe being able to see it in person). I can't believe anyone could complain about this range. Samsung did a great job with this gas range!

I've been very happy so far with this range. I say "so far" because after having purchased several major appliances in the past couple of years I have discovered that most are not made to last very long like they used to be. It's pretty much a crap shoot anymore. With that being said, this one had very good reviews and I am really enjoying it, especially the oven. Looks great. Works great. For now.

Nice looking, center burner not that practical

I bought this model because at the time it was highly rated by consumer reports. It has a nice look and an additional center griddle/grill, that seems like a good idea but really takes up too much space on the cook top so makes it difficult to center larger pots on any of the other 4 burners. The igniter failed after 3 years. I bought matching Samsung Fridge (ice maker failed) and dishwasher (door opening catch failed) at the same time and am disappointed with how little time they last.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Perfection. Looks amazing. Love the features. Easy to use. Looks like a professional oven that wouldve needed a kitchen remodel if I bought it, that DOESN'T need a kitchen remodel. Fit right in a standard oven spot.. Removed my backsplash in oven area for a slide in but didn't account for the overlap. This left a gap in the back. Easy fix with a peice of black granite. Looks incredible. Knobs have a nice solid feel. Easy clean up. Not as deep as my old GE. put a cookie sheet in that I used in my old oven and noticed it's not as deep. Not a big deel for me. The large 2 way burner is great.

    Cooking With Gas!

We switched to natural gas after 25 years of using an electric stove. This stove is so easy to use. I have not had time to read the manual yet, so I'm sure I'm missing some great features, but this stove, and it's electronics are very intuitive. It's got lots of great features, such as the grill and warming drawer. It's also a convection oven. It looks great and is easy to clean. This replaced a 40 year old drop-in stove. The workers were able to install it with a few modifications to the counter. I love this stove.

We did a remodel on our kitchen a few months back. We decided to peek and see what Best Buy had, and we had no idea that they carried so many awesome brands of appliances. They had a Memorial Day sale, so we bought three appliances and we are happy with all of them. The rep was great at pointing out some of his favorites. I tried reading up on some of the reviews and I usually research way ahead of time, but when you are doing a remodel things can go slow or things can go fast and we were in a hurry. The plumber was coming over and we needed that gas stove. We love it so far. It does scratch easily, but it cleans easier than anything I have ever had! By looking at this stove you would think cleaning would difficult. It has a lot of parts and it needs cleaning often, but it's a breeze. Love our new stove.

I really like how easy to clean this stove is compared to my old stock range. The only thing that I had not anticipated was the lip on the corners which was designed to fit the modern counter. Luckily you can adjust the height of it so it can sit on top of the old counter tops in my kitchen. Just pay attention to the lip on the sides before considering to buy this. Measurement doesn't include that lip. It was an additional 1/2 inch or so..

This is by far one of the best slide-in ranges we have ever owned. It looks amazing and it performs very well. The oven cooks pretty evenly. The warming drawer is nice but we have only used it once. The burners have great coverage and control. The LCD screen is bright, easy to see, and intuitive to use. We had a Kitchenaid before and I prefer this one greatly over this one. The one advantage we have seen is that the stainless top is significantly easier to clean than the black (enamel?) top on the Kitchenaid we had prior.

Nice looking range. Oven and broiler work good. Burners also, except middle burner. Oblong burner is very specific as to size of cookware you can use, obviously. Thought cast iron grill would be useful. Unfortunately, it takes 10 minutes to heat to a temperature that’s good for steaks. Don’t cook anything that might produce grease such as bacon. It’s very difficult to clean mainly because it’s so heavy. Grill needs to be stored or larger pans don’t fit on other burners very well. I do like the range overall. Just not the middle burner.

    Much Deeper then Stated

solid stove, very nice. However the dimensions are much deeper then stated. From the back of the stove bump that houses components to the front of the handle bar is about 29.75". So when your fighting for every inch in your kitchen, it makes a difference.

I absolutely LOVE this stove. This is shocking for a number of reasons but mainly because before getting this stove I wasn't excited about cooking anything. I was more of a 'let's go out' kind of girl when it came to cooking. On Mother's Day I prepared the biggest meal ever and loved every minute of it. I didn't even mind the cleanup! I'll NEVER go back to an electric range.

Love this gas stove. Was pleased to find the stainless stove top cleans up easily with just a wipe from my dish cloth and I haven't found fingerprints to be a problem. Oven is large and can hold multiple items easily. Bought as part of a major kitchen remodel because I wanted the slide in design for its sleek look and the fact that it has a fifth burner is a bonus. I looked at reviews and shopped lots before settling on this stove and I must say I believe my research has paid off because I am well pleased with my purchase.

There are plusses and minuses to any range. I am not a professional chef, but am an avid home cook with lots of cooking and baking experience. We have a second home where I busted out for a dual fuel range (GE cafe series), which also has it's benefits and drawbacks, so I will compare some of those. I will say if you are a serious baker, consider spending more for a dual fuel range with an electric convection oven. I have a second electric convection wall oven that I love (an old Frigidaire Gallery). I find my wall oven to be superior even to the electric oven in my dual fuel range. I find myself baking less as my age and waistline advance. I rarely bake cakes, mostly cookies, so the gas oven is fine for me at this point. Because I am using it less and less, I am considering getting rid of my beloved wall oven to capture more storage space, so the split rack in this oven was attractive and will be useful to me. So far, the oven has functioned properly, baked evenly, and the temperature seems to be accurate and consistent. I do find the noise of the cool down fan not to be too loud. In fact, it is far more quiet than my GE. As for the range, my GE dual fuel has excellent power burners, almost too powerful for the home cook. I have to be very careful about temperature control with the largest burner. This is where the biggest advantage of the Samsung comes into play. I can control the burner output completely myself. My GE does not allow that. When you turn the knob to certain points it automatically adjusts to a certain heat level. I want to control it manually myself at all levels which the Samsung allows. The drawback to the range top is that the middle burner is not very useful. Unless I got the wrong part, the grill/griddle piece that is supposed to fit in the middle is useless. On most models, you remove the grate and fit the griddle in it's place. This one is too long and does not fit in that position forcing you to place it on top of the grate. The burner is not powerful enough to heat it well in this position. If I had a large oval pot, I might use the middle burner but I don't, so at this point this renders it a 4 burner cooktop for me rather than a 5 burner. My other big reservation in buying this range was the stainless steel cooktop. It requires constant cleaning. I will be happy when stainless ranges with black cooktop surfaces become more readily available from more manufacturers. The black stainless option would not have gone with my other appliances. Anyone who is a serious cook gets stuff on the surface of their cooktop. I clean regularly, but I'd like to not have to do it every single time I use my range.

This is a very nice stove. The burners and grill grates are well designed and provide ample heating. The oven is large (very large). The only nit I have, is we have been doing a lot of construction, so there was sawdust. I used a vacuum to get the sawdust up and everywhere the rubber/plastic vacuum hose came in contact, it left a mark. So far, I cannot get the marks to go away, using rubbing and a damp soft cloth. I guess a little soft scrub is next. Here's hoping! I feel confident that it will come off.

We read multiple reviews on this range. It is as advertised but even better. The convection oven cooks evenly and efficiently. Baking bread is enjoyable now! We chose this range over others because of the oval burner that comes with a griddle. We really enjoy that feature. Also, the right front burner is a nice addition to this range as it burns 19,000 BTU's which makes using a Wok even easier. A feature we did not realize we would come to like very much is the warming drawer. It does a nice job of keeping food warm will other portions of the meal are finishing their time to cook fully. We are very satisfied with this Gas Convection Range and would buy it again. We feel it is a great working oven at an economical price.

SO happy with this range! Have had it for a year, and put it to the test a lot. The oven gas a huge capacity and fits a turkey roaster, 7 qt oval cocotte, and two 13x9 pans at the same time!! Seems very efficient on gas use. We actually have it hooked to propane with the conversion kit it came with. Convection works awesome, which people find surprising about gas. Only two complaints after a year of use. We wish the middle burner would heat the griddle faster (but glad it it came with one!) The second thing is that the oven door has a streak/drip running between the glass. Need to figure out if that comes apart to clean it. We thought we would use the warming drawer a lot, but we actually barely use it...maybe we just need to remember we have it. Highly recommend this range if you love to cook & bake!!

We're still in the first month of owning this range, but so far I'm super pleased with it. I love the convection gas aspect. Everything cooks so beautifully evenly, even when several racks are used at once. Fish has come out perfectly moist inside and with a lovely finish on the outside. Haven't baked cookies/cakes yet and am looking forward to doing so. The different size and power burners are excellent. There is a lot of ability to control heating -- from high boil to very low simmer. I had read that some people were bothered by the sound of the convection fan but that must be a personal thing. The noise fades into the background; kind of a gentle white noise. Doesn't bother me at all. I had worried about the stainless surface being too easily scratched, but so far so good. No issues.

My wife and I love this new range. It blows our old Jenn-Air away. Tons of cooking space, powerful burners, great touchscreen interface, the oven heats up very fast, and it's a great looking product. Huge upgrade for an incredible price, especially when purchased on sale. Only two negatives: It was on backorder for over 2 months, and it had this horrible oily/burning plastic smell. I checked everywhere and there was definitely no plastic burning. We used the oven cleaning feature (2 hour wait) and the smell was completely gone after a day or two. No big deal.
