Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the ease of use, cooking performance, and convection features of the 5.8 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Slide-In Gas Convection Range. Many appreciate the multiple burner sizes and the aesthetically pleasing design. However, some users note that the stainless steel surface is prone to scratches and fingerprints, requiring more diligent cleaning. Concerns were also raised regarding the durability of certain components, such as the knobs.

Oven extremely efficient; black stainless looks great and holds up well. Hand/finger smudges disappear easily.

    Love this slide in range

I really love our new Samsung slide in gas range. I use the convection setting about 1/2 the time and it is a great feature. Bake/roasts evenly in less time. The additional grill for the center area is a nice added feature and i've used it for pancakes (flat side) and grilling steaks on the textured side. The burner options have a good mix of full size and simmer. I've only used the warming drawer once and I didn't allow it to heat up enough beforehand so I'll have to give that another try before I decide on that feature. I have not found the front placement of the knobs to be an issue as far as being accidentally turned on by leaning on them as some other reviews mentioned. I wish that the stainless wasn't as susceptible to scratching on top as it is (I put a scratch in it the first week of use) but oh well, it is an appliance that will get heavy use in our home so it will not remain perfect anyway. I think this is an excellent buy and I highly recommend this range in the under $2,000.00 category.

My wife used it once and it had black streaks all down the glass. We could not clean it Samsung told us that is what happens that is why the glass is tinted. It was missing parts when it was delivered. I have been without a stove for over a month and best buy is still giving me the run around. One of the worst purchases I have made

We did a remodel on our kitchen a few months back. We decided to peek and see what Best Buy had, and we had no idea that they carried so many awesome brands of appliances. They had a Memorial Day sale, so we bought three appliances and we are happy with all of them. The rep was great at pointing out some of his favorites. I tried reading up on some of the reviews and I usually research way ahead of time, but when you are doing a remodel things can go slow or things can go fast and we were in a hurry. The plumber was coming over and we needed that gas stove. We love it so far. It does scratch easily, but it cleans easier than anything I have ever had! By looking at this stove you would think cleaning would difficult. It has a lot of parts and it needs cleaning often, but it's a breeze. Love our new stove.

We're still in the first month of owning this range, but so far I'm super pleased with it. I love the convection gas aspect. Everything cooks so beautifully evenly, even when several racks are used at once. Fish has come out perfectly moist inside and with a lovely finish on the outside. Haven't baked cookies/cakes yet and am looking forward to doing so. The different size and power burners are excellent. There is a lot of ability to control heating -- from high boil to very low simmer. I had read that some people were bothered by the sound of the convection fan but that must be a personal thing. The noise fades into the background; kind of a gentle white noise. Doesn't bother me at all. I had worried about the stainless surface being too easily scratched, but so far so good. No issues.

We read multiple reviews on this range. It is as advertised but even better. The convection oven cooks evenly and efficiently. Baking bread is enjoyable now! We chose this range over others because of the oval burner that comes with a griddle. We really enjoy that feature. Also, the right front burner is a nice addition to this range as it burns 19,000 BTU's which makes using a Wok even easier. A feature we did not realize we would come to like very much is the warming drawer. It does a nice job of keeping food warm will other portions of the meal are finishing their time to cook fully. We are very satisfied with this Gas Convection Range and would buy it again. We feel it is a great working oven at an economical price.

This slide in range is fantastic. Each burner is a different size and works ideally for various sized pots. It has two simmer burners ,right back is a designated simmer burner and right front is shared with a super larger burner (dual burner rings.). The convection over is great. High quality and nice. Rack are rated so you can bake more than one rack of the same thing, such as cookies, or mix items in the oven. The bottom drawer beneath the range is a Warming Drawer - three heat selections! I didn't know that whey I purchased it. Touch key pad is great and easy to use. Has some very nice presets including a "keep warm" setting for the oven. Great for parties and entertaining when you want to finish baking before serving time. Bright light on the inside of the oven. Love it!

We switched to natural gas after 25 years of using an electric stove. This stove is so easy to use. I have not had time to read the manual yet, so I'm sure I'm missing some great features, but this stove, and it's electronics are very intuitive. It's got lots of great features, such as the grill and warming drawer. It's also a convection oven. It looks great and is easy to clean. This replaced a 40 year old drop-in stove. The workers were able to install it with a few modifications to the counter. I love this stove.

Love this range. Easy to keep clean and looking like new. Heats perfectly in bake, broil, roast and convection as well. Range top is almost perfect. Only thing I would change is making the grids of the grates closer together so small pans can't fall over. Love the double front burner for low cooking for small pans or large pan cooking. Best range I could find out there. Hope they keep making ranges like this one or add my suggestion.

Love this gas stove. Was pleased to find the stainless stove top cleans up easily with just a wipe from my dish cloth and I haven't found fingerprints to be a problem. Oven is large and can hold multiple items easily. Bought as part of a major kitchen remodel because I wanted the slide in design for its sleek look and the fact that it has a fifth burner is a bonus. I looked at reviews and shopped lots before settling on this stove and I must say I believe my research has paid off because I am well pleased with my purchase.

Delivery of new and removal of old range uneventful. In hindsight, I would have seriously considered paying for install. We had to change all the jets for propane compatibility that were challenging to reach and needed distinct tools. Luckily our neighbor rescued us with the 9/32 wrench. The Samsung instructions were scattered and disjointed- seems they could benefit with a "start here" sheet. Other than that, I was happy deliveryman advised to run the 400 degree oven for 30 minutes to get rid of the chemical smell. Function of the range is great, nice even heating. I worry about cleaning the cast iron griddle with soap and water, but that's what recommended in the manual. I haven't used the temp probe yet, but it looks promising. So far, so good. I'm happy that we'll be able to use it if the power goes out. Setting the cooking time can be challenging, if you hit a wrong number, you can't delete and have to start all over, shutting stove off. It only does whole minutes too, I mistakenly set hours and minutes not knowing this..

This is the first fully gas range my wife and I have ever had, but I can guarantee we will never go back to an electric range again. We love to cook and have found that cooking on the gas range is so much better than an electric range. This range has several different burner sizes that give you many different cooking options at one time. The range being fully gas also has been slightly less expensive in terms of monthly utility bills as well. So far, we have nothing but great things to say about this gas range!

Have to say we love our new Samsung stove! It is so much better than the GE stove it replaced. When comparing Samsung to other stoves, even high end ones which cost so much more, Samsung is very comparable. Check out the BTU's of the burners & you'll see there isn't much comparison especially in this price range. Also love the convection oven, I've tested it for accuracy & it is spot on, something my GE never was. The center burner & included griddle is a nice bonus, can't beat that for making eggs, pancakes, etc. So far it has turned out to be a great purchace!

We finished our kitchen appliance refresh with this Samsung range. Looks beautiful and love the different features. The different size stove top burners have turned out to be quite handy. The oven cooks wonderfully however still getting used to the convection feature.

Simply put this range is awesome. Cooks quickly. Easy to keep clean. The oven does a great job and the warming drawer is very handy though it would help if it were a bit deeper. My family likes the look of the slide in too.

Nice looking, center burner not that practical

I bought this model because at the time it was highly rated by consumer reports. It has a nice look and an additional center griddle/grill, that seems like a good idea but really takes up too much space on the cook top so makes it difficult to center larger pots on any of the other 4 burners. The igniter failed after 3 years. I bought matching Samsung Fridge (ice maker failed) and dishwasher (door opening catch failed) at the same time and am disappointed with how little time they last.

After a solid couple of months researching, I decided on this model and couldn't be happier. I've always had gas, so that's not new. The power with the higher BTUs is new, and fantastic. The finesse that gas allows is just amplified with this additional power. The convection has made frozen pizzas with crispy crusts and even cooking. I'm still playing with convection trying to understand when it's best to use it and how (different from standard baking). I bought an oven thermometer to be sure it was heating properly, and it is. My only complaint would be that the stainless stovetop will eventually show a lot of wear - it's already got a few stains that won't come out. But they are minor to my love of this stove/oven. Very happy with my purchase!

We purchased this gas range because our old range died. We are now a family of 4 and what a delight and fun time to upgrade to this amazing gas range. I love the griddle and the effectiveness of the stove. Everything cooks thoroughly and so far we have no complaints. A great plus, this range can pass as a $3,500 range! Makes our kitchen look awesome :-)

Beautiful and functional. Oven heats thoroughly, stove boils water quickly. Easy to operate. Comes with fill in piece for back that allows it to fit nicely into space that previously had free-standing, not slide in, range.
