I was very careful with the salesman to make sure the burner knobs light up when the gas is on. They do not despite being told they do. I even called Samsung and this feature is only available on the split door for 1k more!

The flames on all the burners are great and gives enough different flame sizes for all needs. Haven't tried the oven yet. probably for this weekend.

I called Dish Repair and specifically requested a new Samsung oven igniter replacement. The first was scheduled for 8 AM and arrived at 4:45 then informed me he was unqualified to work with gas??? The second repairman arrived at the end of the day. Unfortunately, he was sent out with the wrong part. He checked with the Dish dispatcher and proved that it was the wrong part. 2 whole days wasted and no oven for baking at Christmas!. The 3rd and final repairman arrived in the late afternoon of New Years Eve. He got the job done with ease within an hour. I can finally bake some Christmas cake! Yeah! This should have been my first experience. However, I lost 2.5 days of work due to the INCOMPETENCE of DISH Administration. Overall, It was a frustrating BAD experience in which I lost time and money during the Christmas Holiday of 2019.

DO NOT BUY BLACK STAINLESS ANYTHING
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The itself is quite nice, but the "black stainless" option you're paying an extra $100 for is a cheap shrink wrap that will peel or flake in a short period of time. There is a current class action lawsuit over it. Give Samsung Black Stainless Peeling a google before considering purchasing any of these items.
