I stepped up from the ju6500 to this model and very happy with my decision. I like the remote a lot better and the picture quality really sold it for me. Better blacks and less judder.

Clear picture quality with really easy to use setup, especially the remote control! It does what I bought it for -- TV with internet connection to my favorite sites.

My old Phillips HD TV finally started having tuner issues and was 8 years old, so it was time to upgrade. Found this model on sale and decided to take the leap into 4K. I knew there wasn't much 4K available yet, but I liked the upscaling feature. All I can say is WOW! What an incredible picture. Myregular shows that I watch in HD are now even more vivid. Every small, tiny element is visible. Dust particles in the air, every tiny hair on someone's head is almost real. Looks like a photograph. My streaming shows are amazing also, and I now have 4K Netflix offers.

Overall an excellent HDTV. The picture quality and color are excellent. The sound is also reasonable for normal TV watching. It's not sound bar quality but not too bad. The remote is easy to use and the menu structure is easy to use as well. There is very little lag time when using the apps, Netflix, etc. The one downside is the screen is very reflective of any light source. Not a huge deal unless you have the TV positioned opposite windows or lamps.

The 50" JU7100 is excellent value for your money. I bought mine on sale for $750 and it is easily the best quality 4K tv you can get for under $1K. I did a lot of research to find the best affordable mid range TV because I didn't want to spend a lot money and this one consistently had best specs for the amazingly affordable price. A huge plus is the 240 motion rate, unlike others in this price range that have 60-120. I would highly recommend getting this tv.

Amazing TV, I'm glad I went for this series. You can tell such a difference in quality compared to cheaper ones. You will not be disappointed.

This is a first 4k TV for me. The panel is not made by Samsung on this 50" model, BUT it seems flawless to me. The picture is phenomenal.

This TV has been great purchase since day one. Had to change some settings but other than that it's flawless.

Purchased this TV last week. It has all the bells and whistles I wanted. It was a 2015 clearance. Shipped from Best Buy...not at store. Problem is that the sound and picture are not synched. After wasting time with a blue shirt in the store who told me I needed a "better hdmi", I spent a considerable amount of time with Samsung on the phone, they told me that he TV needed an update, and that they would send me a usb drive of some sort that would have the update. We'll see.
