Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU8000. I am glad you were able to adjust your brightness settings to your liking. If you haven't tried these adjustments already, you may want to try Dynamic Picture Mode which is best suited for bright viewing environments.
For manual adjustments, go to: Home > Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness We also recommend that you check if Power Saving Mode has been enabled. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution > Power Saving Mode
