Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU8000 4K Smart TV and for your review. I am sorry to hear that your TV’s picture did not meet your expectations. There are several image settings you can adjust to your liking such as Picture Mode and Expert Settings.
Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, tint, contrast, white balance, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

The plasma is going in the garage to watch and still works great. Samsung products are terrific. Will purchase more Samsung products.

Apparently is had to do something with the TV going on standby by itself.

It was delivered with scratches on the screen, which I overlooked because it didn't interfere with the picture quality. I used the TV one night turned it off the next day it stopped working exactly 2 years (May 2020- May 2022) after I purchased it. The TV would power on and off constantly with no picture and a little audio then it lost audio. I rebooted it and did a hard reset it. Left it unplugged for several days with no resolve. Contacted Samsung the did all the troubleshooting I did. Then wanted someone to come at and fix it at a higher rate than the TV cost. Its very disappointing I had to resort back to using a Samsung Smart TV that's 10 yers old that can no longer be updated so how smart is it. All of the TV's and phones in my household are Samsung I think I will have to find a new manufacturer for future purchases I have lost my faith in dear old Samsung.

Use it with my PS5, color banding does occur occasionally, probably the only complaint i would have. Though, that is negligible if you ask me. Beautiful display!

However, when I compared to smaller TV'S and research the features I saw this as a steal. I am also a big Samsung TV guym

Helped me make a good decision on a TV. Installation person wore a mask and covered shoes. Very good at what he did and explaining operation of cable box and TV.

If you're like me and haven't upgraded your TV in 10 years and are getting the PS5. If you can't afford a super nice TV and your budget is in this price range. You can't go wrong

I tried a Vizio V Series and a TCL. However I have found this one to be the best one and haven't experienced any issues with it.

The remote also works with Apple TV. My son likes the set up of this TV better than Apple TV. We are very happy with our purchase.

What a world of difference from this set to their old TV. Great display and great bang for the buck. Highly recommend this TV
