    It does everything i want except play avi vedios and I have not found an acceptable of converting them. I the issue is time.

    We’ve had the TV for about a month and everything looks great so far. No issues, we love the size and this time we mounted it instead of free standing.

    Had an older Samsung led tv that the screen stopped working on but I loved that tv so at this price I decided to go with another Samsung just a slight upgrade

    I brought this tv to fit in my office so I can watch tv while this COVID crap is going on. But to my surprise, the tv has brilliant color and works like a charm.

    Great picture for my elderly friend that I bought it for , replacing another Samsung that Screen Started going black after only a little over two years

    Impressive selection of Apps and also has internet capabilities. It can operate as a TV connected to cable - or as a Smart TV connected to Wi-Fi signal

    Wifi issues

    Overall it’s a decent tv but it does have a major issue with wifi. I’ve tried resetting the settings multiple times but it doesn’t help. Only fix I’ve been able to find is to press and hold the power button to reboot the tv and it’ll join the network. This is the only tv that has this issue. My other 3 year old Samsung doesn’t have this problem. I’m hoping it will get fixed with a software update.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU8000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry you are experiencing WiFi connection issues. A new firmware update has recently been released which may help improve your connection. (1460.9 released on 12/7/20)

      Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically.

      You may also want to enable automatic updates for future convenience.
      Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

    I enjoy how the remote resembles a lot of the fire stick remote. I haven’t had a chance to explore everything it can do yet.

    I bought this 50 inch for my bedroom, it has a good picture, but I would have to say that the sound quality is not great. I would highly recommend you buying a sound bar for this TV. If I had a choice I probably would go with a differnt TV. I have to call geek squad and ask about a ring like sound that the tv makes while watching tv.

      The TU 8 series features integrated 20W, 2 CH Dolby speakers and supports Dolby Digital Plus to optimize your entertainment experience with enhanced sound richness and clarity.

      Select from several Sound Modes and advanced settings to meet your personal preferences.
      You can also customize the sound with Expert Settings.
      Press the Home button on your remote, and then navigate to Settings. Select Sound, and then select Expert Settings.

    Really good TV. The only hiccups come with streaming HDR. During panning and quick shots, the TV suffers minor lagging.

    What I’m most impressed with on this tv are the deep blacks. They’re so good that sometimes you think the tv has turned off but it’s really just a dark scene.

    Hooked my xbox to this tv and man that 4k is impressive. Wonder how much better it would look with that dolby vision thing, but anywho, this tv does the job!
