    I have been using this tv for about a year and already went out. It has burnt leds and now won’t even turn on I would not recommend.

    The screen has 6 bright green lines across it and it turns on and off randomly by itself.. have not even used it for 2 years yet.

    You can get a TV with a full array lighting display and a wider color gamut for the same price. I would've not bought this if I had known or returned it if possible.

    Waste of Money …. Bought the TV last year and now it has got black screen and no support from Samsung or Bestbuy.

    Very nice TV. The only negative I can think of is they have changed the smart hub menu to be it's own screen instead of a pop-up on the bottom like it used to be. The TV is fast & I like the sound although I've not turned it up very loud. I also like that the remote can be charged so no more worries about batteries.

    Only have had the samsung 50" smart tv 16 mos and it pooped out on new years day 2022. Good thing we purchased a geek protection plan.

    less than 2 yrs old and the screen has lots of horizontal lines. I was expecting way better quality for a Samsung tv.

    My Samsung gave me black screen of death and was just under 24 months of purchase….what a rip for a $700+ tv

      I am very sorry that you are having some Wi-Fi connection issues with your TU8000 TV.

      You may want to go through these steps:
      1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).
      2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)

      3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.
      Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings >Support> Device Care> Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test

      If the test concludes that the unit needs service, please contact us via any of the following options:
      1) Phone: 1-800-SAMSUNG (Ask for TVs)
      Available 8AM – 12AM EST 7 days a week

      I am sorry that you are experiencing stalling and freezing with your TU8000 Crystal UHD Smart TV.
      To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu.
      Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.
      This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

    Got September 23 2020. And it’s already broken. Screen goes black. And can turn it off.

    After 3 day delay in delivery I get a dirty crushed box and a broken tv. Trying to get a replacement is just as dam bad wouldn't buy from again

      Our products leave the factory after passing numerous rigorous quality checks.
      Nonetheless, a TV is a very fragile device and damage could have been incurred during shipping and handling. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation -- laid on its side or tilted-- during transit, internal damage could have been done.

    TV is glitchy

    The TV glitches a lot and tends to get stuck. I had to reboot it often for it to connect back to our network.
