I am very sorry to see that your TU8000 screen exhibited damage upon opening and setup. Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation -- laid on its side or tilted -- during transit, damage could have been done.
We recommend you contact your seller directly for assistance in correcting the situation.

Good color, sounds, picture quality, the smart apps and features very nice. shortly after the window to take advantage of the 3 year warranty, I started to get green lines vertically and then it just cycles power now.

Just after the 2 year warranty it developed an issue where it took a long time to turn on. The screen and tv would flash on and off but never fully come on. Then it just never turned on.

I love Samsung products so would buy this tv again the only problem i had was the picture was hard to see when the sun was high. I have alot of windows in my apt so there was no place i could put the tv that would bloxk the sun
