Sometimes I have to leave it on for hours and then it’ll finally turn on with a picture .for $500 not worth it in my opinion

After an automatic software update earlier this year (2024) the tv will not boot up consistently. When it does boot up the picture is still excellent but being unable to watch tv whenever I want make the tv useless. I found if I keep it unplugged and only plug it in then immediately turn it on works most of the time. I will never buy a quality samsung product again and whatever TV I purchase next will never be connected to the internet.

After 4 years my screen stopped working, the tv won’t turn on. I tried resetting and nothing. For a Samsung tv i would’ve exptected a little longer life usage of the tv.

Wanted to try Samsung and it was definitely worth it. The detail, color, and sound are top notch and set up was super easy. Games look fantastic on Xbox One X with surprisingly low latency. This is my first smart tv so the interface really takes some getting use to. Everything is running smoothly and haven't run into any issues. Highly recommend it for anyone not looking to break the bank!

The problem is probably a short circuit in the LCD Panel which is causing the TV to shut off a minute after turning on. Good while it lasted. Wish it lasted at least 5 years or a way to bypass the protection feature.

Other than that the interface seems good, the samsung channel are nice to have. I have enjoyed the TV but the lines this soon is troubling.

I was hoping that it would last a few more years. There are no Samsung repair centers near me, so I guess it is time to buy another TV...

I've done no adjustments and although the initial impression is good I'll come back to assess more fully. But one thing is certain...the remote control seems to be of very minimal use and the absence of an input button is inexcusable. BUT there's something WORSE...the cover to said remote is almost unworkable. In order to put batteries in one must remove the cover. IT WOULD NOT BUDGE. I had to take a kitchen knife to it and eventually pried the cover off. It wasn't without some damage. RIDICULOUS! This should be fixed immediately. I'm not alone - if one looks online there are utube (sic) videos addressing the problem.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was fine while it lasted but it died after 2 years. 3 HDMI ports was ok but I would prefer 4. The Tizen OS is awful. It doesn't let you uninstall a few apps that came pre-installed. It doesn't have Rumble. The remote is the absolute worst. None of that mattered too much because I used a Roku Streambar. Luckily I rarely had to touch their remote because the roku remote did everything except switch inputs. However the tv was smart enough to switch inputs on it's own which was great.
