You need a good tv at a great value? This is the one. I wanted to upgrade from a Samsung 43 inch 6 series TV to something a little bigger. This was the answer. This Samsung 50 inch tv has everything I wanted. It has Bluetooth, Apple Airplay, HDMI plugs, and USB plugs in all the right places. The only issue I had at first was the remote control. It doesn’t have any numbers, but once you figure it out, you can switch between TV sources (PS4, satellite, External hard drive, and apps specifically for me) with ease.

The clarity and the colors on this tv are superb! We bought it sight unseen and couldn’t be happier with the picture this tv has.

Little bit of a problem setting it up but Comcast took care of that. Was able to use my old remote. Nice picture .

Best 50” TV ever. I have the 65” version of this same 8000 series as well. (The 50” is perfect size for the bedroom wall)

The first Samsung tv I bought years ago started having problems but it was a couple of years into having it, so I figure it lived a pretty short but fulfilling life. This time I went against my better judgement and after reading a ton of reviews, went with Samsung again. Only this time it lasted 17 days before dying. I don’t order a ton of electronics so the $200/yr geek squad membership for repairs seemed a bit much (this is a good tv, right?) so (my fault I guess) I decided against that. Found out after the fact that Best Buy’s return policy only covers a whopping 15 days. Which puts me a solid 48 hrs past return time. Samsung has their own repair center which after a while on the phone with them, filed a claim. They assured me a Samsung tech would be by to take a look and fix everything. I get one call from a local repair place that put me on hold for 10 mins, picked up said they’d ordered a part and it’d be there next week and hangs up. Thanks Best Buy. Thanks Samsung.
