Await the software update for Google assistant. Best Buy Price matched with Amazon Retail price! Pros:Has composite AV inputwhich was missing in last year model.able to connect Xbox 360. Movie and game enhancer modes are great. Geek Reviews suggest 2019 model of 8000 series is better than 2020 model. But so far has not made any difference; TV is good for normal home usage.

I've now had it nearly a month and there are no major complaints. It works well with your cable and smart apps. The remote is simple and effective. I love the inclusion of Apple TV and Apple Music so no need to purchased that separately. The only thing I don't see it doing is the ability to cast to it but maybe I haven't seen it yet. Not a big deal either way. Nice crisp display, adjusts to game mode for PS4. Good price.

Terrible Remote

It looks like it was made properly. One piece and no opening. Also the instructions that came with the TV are terrible. I will wait and see if the TV is good. The sound seems OK even though I cannot program it until I get a remote.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU8000 TV. I am sorry you are having trouble opening the cover of your remote's battery cover. Flip your remote over, press down firmly, and slide the back cover down in the direction of the indicators.
