If you put the tv on pause and come back, the tv jumps to the tv speakers instead of the soundbar and you have to jump through hoops to get it back to the soundbar. I called samsung and they couldn't figure it out. I went to a problem site and others have said it is a glitch in the samsung tv.

Terrible Remote

It looks like it was made properly. One piece and no opening. Also the instructions that came with the TV are terrible. I will wait and see if the TV is good. The sound seems OK even though I cannot program it until I get a remote.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU8000 TV. I am sorry you are having trouble opening the cover of your remote's battery cover. Flip your remote over, press down firmly, and slide the back cover down in the direction of the indicators.

We upgraded from a TV that was much, much older (5-10 years older) and I think this was a great price for starting to get into the world of smart TVs. It is a little funky with the xbox (always turns it on when we turn the TV on) but I have it set up to my Google Assistant so its easy to just turn it off. Setting up with Google Assistant was a bit of a pain but it is possible. The TV itself has great integration with Alexa and Siri though.
